One of the best-known names in cruising, Princess Cruises first set sail in 1965 with a single ship cruising to Mexico. Today, the line has grown to become the third largest cruise line in the world, renowned for innovative ships, an array of onboard options, and an environment of exceptional customer service. A recognised leader in worldwide cruising, Princess offers approximately 1.7 million passengers each year the opportunity to escape to the top destinations around the globe, aboard a fleet of 18 modern vessels.
Princess Cruises was catapulted to stardom in 1977 when one of its ships, Pacific Princess was cast in a starring role on a new television show called "The Love Boat." The weekly series, which introduced millions of viewers to the concept of a sea-going vacation, was an instant hit and both the company name and its "seawitch" logo have remained synonymous with cruising ever since. The show, which can still be seen around the world, has been widely credited with fuelling the dramatic expansion of the industry.

P&O Cruises can trace its colourful history all the way back to 1837. On 1st September that year, Arthur Anderson and Brodie McGhie Wilcox, founders of the Peninsular Steam Navigation Company, were awarded a contract from the British Government to carry mail from London to the Iberian Peninsula. At that time passengers were also carried on these routes, but initially it was more a case of business than pleasure.
It is commonly believed that Arthur Anderson first imagined deep-sea cruising two years before establishing the company. Arthur placed a dummy advertisement selling a mythical cruise to fill space in the first edition of his ‘Shetland Journal’ newspaper.
As the company picked up more contracts with more varied destinations, they also put Anderson’s idea for leisure cruise travel into action. They offered round trip tickets to some of the more exotic destinations along their routes like Malta, Athens and Egypt. Needless to say this new holiday phenomenon well and truly took off.
P&O Cruises set the standards for quality, service, reliability, comfort, safety and innovation. And this forward-looking approach ensures that we remain at the forefront of cruise holidays.

Since 1991 Star Clippers has offered sophisticated travellers the ultimate cruising vacation alternative – a tall ship “mega-yacht” experience aboard authentic re-creations of the classic sailing clipper ships that ruled the waves during the 19th century.
The brainchild of Swedish entrepreneur, Mikael Krafft, Star Clippers operates three of the largest barquentine and full-rigged sailing ships in the world. Star Clipper, Star Flyer and flagship, Royal Clipper are a triumvirate of four and five-masted sailing ships that offer the activities, amenities and atmosphere of a private yacht. With Star Clippers, Mikael Krafft has realized his lifelong dream to provide a unique sailing experience for his passengers in full harmony with the environment, the sea and often away from ports congested with tourists.
Star Flyer and Star Clipper
Launched in 1991 and 1992 in Ghent, Belgium, Star Flyer and Star Clipper were the first clipper ships since 1911 to be granted the certificate of Sailing Passenger Vessel (S.P.V.) by Lloyd’s Register of Shipping and are now classified by DNV. They are both four-masted, square-rigged barquentines, 115,5m long, with 3,365 m² of sail and carry up to 166 passengers and 74 crew members. The two ships filled a niche in the market calling for the casual yet elegant style of a private yacht sailing vacation as opposed to the bigger-is-better theory of the huge floating hotel-cruise ships. Star Clippers ships feature open-seating dining, a convivial indoor-outdoor Tropical Bar with an intimate Piano Lounge, and an Edwardian style library with an Époque fireplace. Passengers will be pleased to see antique prints and paintings of famous sailing vessels and gleaming mahogany rails with brass fittings throughout the ship.
Royal Clipper
The success of Star Clippers over the decade of the 90’s convinced Krafft that the time had come to launch a new ship. Inspired by the “Preussen,” the historic flagship of the famed Flying P Line in Germany, Star Clippers commissioned Royal Clipper, out of the Merwede shipyard in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Royal Clipper is the first five-masted, full-rigged sailing ship to be built since 1902 when her inspiration, Preussen, was launched in Hamburg. Royal Clipper joined the Star Clippers’ fleet in July of 2000 and carries the highest rating possible of S.P.V. +100 A1. The Royal Clipper and all the ships are flying the Maltese flag.
The steel-hulled vessel is 134m long, has a beam of 16m, a draft of 5,6m and is now classified by DNV. She carries 42 sails with a total area of 5,000 m². Her highest mast, at an extraordinary 54m, includes a 5,8m hinged top section that can be folded down for passing under bridges and power lines. Royal Clipper accommodates 227 passengers and 106 crew members, of whom 20 are needed to handle all sails. The remaining 86 crew members serve passenger needs or are on support duty. Well-known yacht designer Donald Starkey of London, England, who has created the decor for many of the world’s most admired mega-yachts, was commissioned to design the Royal Clipper’s interiors. The ageless Edwardian style he chooses here suits Royal Clipper perfectly with its warm, welcoming atmosphere and traditional, nautical flourishes.

In everything we do, and everywhere we go, we stir the senses while we explore new experiences…
Cruising with us is much more than our iconic destinations, local expertise and award-winning hospitality. It’s discovering a special place inside yourself to call your own. It’s awakening a passion for exploration and Mediterranean living. And it’s sharing life-affirming moments that stay with you forever.
This is Greek cruising the Greek way. It’s what all of us at Celestyal live, breathe and love to share. Because it’s who we are. Born in Athens in 2014, we’ve quickly become the number one choice for travellers to the Greek Islands and Eastern Mediterranean.
Our guests tell us it’s because we offer the only genuine Greek experience. Passionate, personal hospitality based on thousands of years of culture. Intricate local knowledge of every Mediterranean coastline, landmark and tradition. Onboard cuisine and entertainment that continues the story of each destination as we sail away to our next one.
The secret to the Celestyal experience is our midsize ships. They allow our crew, made up of 11 nationalities, to get to know you personally, remember what you enjoy, and recommend experiences just for you. Our midsize ships also allow us to explore remote locations that larger ships can’t reach – we have exclusive access to some of the most beautiful islands in our archipelago.
When we reach our destinations, that’s when the adventures truly begin. You could be face to face with the Sphinx in Cairo on Monday, retrace the steps to Bethlehem on Tuesday, explore vineyards in a Cypriot mountain village on Wednesday, and be back in the birthplace of democracy by the end of the week.
Whether you join us for a long weekend of discovery or an odyssey that spans weeks, continents and centuries, you experience life to the fullest. And you don’t have to take it from us. We’ve won over 60 awards in seven years, ranging from ‘Platinum Guest Experience Excellence’ to ‘Cruise Line with the Greatest Commitment to the East Med Region’.

The A-ROSA Experience
For over 20 years, A-ROSA have been shaking off the formal image of river cruising to create a refreshingly different way to sail Europe’s rivers. Designed for couples, families and groups alike, A-ROSA’s laidback voyages combine all of the highlights of this beautiful way to travel with all of the flexibility you need to completely relax and enjoy your holiday, your way.
That means lots of freedom to explore ports at your own pace and a wonderfully casual on-board atmosphere whether you’re watching the river scenery dreamily drift by from a cosy lounger in the spa or choosing from the indulgent buffets served without set dining times or table sizes.
Even better, an A-ROSA river cruise is always all-inclusive too. So, you can raise a glass to new discoveries with a choice of wines, beers, Prosecco, soft drinks and speciality teas and coffees throughout the day. And tuck into delicious, regionally inspired flavours and international favourites at breakfast, lunch and dinner, all included in the price.
Set sail through one of five regions, stretching from the Imperial capitals of the Danube and the fairy-tale castles of the Rhine to the scenic pleasures of the Moselle, the inimitable joie de vivre of France and the sun-drenched charms of Portugal’s Douro.
A city break sounds good. But a city break in multiple cities sounds even better. And this is exactly what you can look forward to when you get on board an A-ROSA ship. The best crêpes in the city? Shopping streets that will set your heart racing? Or how about that quirky museum you’ve heard so much about?
Everything is literally at the doorstep of your hotel room. Our berths in the major cities of Europe are mostly in the very centre of the city. So, arrive in a destination, grab your handbag or backpack, and get going! Take photos, make memories, experience a new place! Alone or on guided tours. By foot or on an A-ROSA bicycle. Your holiday, your decision.
And as your premium hotel moves from city to city, you have everything you would expect from a premium hotel on deck – views of the spectacular landscape, delicious drinks, minigolf, a spa and a lot of sunshine. Whether you’re in your spacious cabin, at the pool or in our restaurant. Simply drift along and enjoy your dream holiday, which has just become a reality.

Royal Caribbean International is known for driving innovation at sea and has been continuously redefining cruise vacationing since our launch in 1969. Each successive class of ships is an architectural marvel, pushing the envelope of what is possible for a cruise ship. Onboard, our global cruise line has debuted countless industry firsts – rock climbing, ice skating, and surfing at sea, to name a few – that capture the imagination of every Royal Caribbean International passenger. Our guests sail on exciting itineraries to some of the world’s most popular destinations while enjoying Royal Caribbean’s friendly and engaging service.
The very essence of our business depends on the health and vibrancy of the oceans and our overall environment. Royal Caribbean is committed to conserving and protecting our environment by implementing and following strict company policies, practices, regulations, and special initiatives that we call “Above and Beyond Compliance”, or “ABC”. Our ABC policy is designed to help us achieve the highest possible standards of environmental and community stewardship.
In 1992, we launched our Save the Waves program, which started with a focus on waste management and evolved into a company-wide philosophy of social responsibility, environmental protection, and eco-friendly sustainable practices that guide our business.
Our ships are built and retrofitted to operate more efficiently with less impact on the environment. We repurpose 100 percent of all cargo-associated and operational waste, and our wastewater purification levels on many of our ships exceed national and international standards.
Through our Ocean Fund, created in 1996, more than $13 million has been spent on marine conservation and education programs, including climate change and environmental research projects at the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science.
In early 2016, Royal Caribbean and the World Wildlife Fund announced a five-year global partnership to help ensure the long-term health of the oceans. The partners will set measurable and achievable sustainability targets that will further reduce Royal Caribbean’s environmental footprint, raise awareness about ocean conservation among the company’s more than five million guests, and support WWF’s global oceans conservation work.
Our goals include reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 35 percent by 2020, and responsibly sourcing 90 percent of our wild-caught seafood by volume from sustainable fisheries by 2020.
Royal Caribbean staff are also committed to making our communities better places to live, work, and visit. Since 1997, thousands of Royal Caribbean employees have been volunteering their time during GIVE Day, an annual community event with projects in the US, Europe, South America, Asia, and the Caribbean. Our many projects include neighbourhood development, civic drives, environmental improvement, and disaster recovery.
Royal Caribbean enjoys ongoing partnerships with organisations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, United Way, Pan American Development Foundation, and more.
