Our room was a great size, nicely presented with a sea view, a comfortable bed and a good quality shower. It was pristine when we arrived and was kept that way throughout by the cleaners, in line with the hotel as a whole. My only minor criticism would be that it was slightly hard work to get the liquid out of the shower gel/shampoo dispenser and the liquid itself smelled a little unusual, so would perhaps suggest to bring your own.
The hotel is in a fabulous location with the beach only a stone’s throw away and plenty of spectacular views to be had. The beach is gorgeous and the water is crystal clear. The sunbeds (not linked to the hotel) have their own security boxes and cost around 15 Euros a day to hire. You sit yourself down on a sunbed and eventually a lady will come over and charge you via cash or card.
We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel (and vice versa) and although our driver was a little late on the inward journey, it was worth every penny. Comfortable, air conditioned and with a journey time of an hour, it’s about an hour and a half quicker than the bus.
There is plenty of space around the two main swimming pools at all times of day so no need to get up with a towel at the crack of dawn. However, if you want a prime spot I would get there around 9-9.30am.
I was very happy drinking the beer and soft drinks from the bar all week. My partner felt the cocktails were more of a mixed bag but for all inclusive, a decent offering.
I am baffled by the criticism of the food in some of these reviews. The range of food at each meal is vast and caters for basically every palate and nationality. You can eat as healthily or unhealthily as you want. For lunch and dinner there was always a variety of meat and fish dishes, a daily special, pasta, plenty of sides, cold cuts, cheeses, salads, breads, fruits and desserts. They do themed nights as well which encompass cuisines like Chinese, Mexican and Spanish. Considering it is mass catering, the quality of the food was good and it was rare I left anything on my plate. The only other thing to mention is that the main restaurant is always busy, as you would expect in a big hotel, so mealtimes are a little hectic, but we acclimatized very quickly.
The evening entertainment was unfortunately very cabaret and outdated. I felt sorry for the animacion team who were left to come up with all the content themselves having worked all day. The one exception was on the night an external group were brought in to do some flamenco, which was terrific.
The boat trip, which can be booked on your way to the beach, is worth doing if you want a change from sunbathing. We did the shorter one at 2.5 hours which we felt was enough. Had we been there longer than a week, we would have done other expeditions as well.
Overall, a fantastic holiday and would certainly recommend this hotel. Many thanks to the staff for all their efforts.

The room had stunning views overlooking the sea, the bed was extremely comfortable, the floors were so shiny & always clean - you could see your own reflection in them! The shower was lovely, perfect temperature & pressure and the height was adjustable to well over 6ft which was amazing (if you’re tall, you’ll understand). Sunbeds are locked until 9am which is fantastic & then you can place them where you like, always plenty to choose from. The pools however were absolutely freezing, we couldn’t stay in it for longer than 5 minutes. 2 min walk from the beach which is a lovely sandy beach. Plenty of variety in the restaurant, we loved the Chinese themed night! The only thing I would have liked would be a kettle in the room - we took our own after reading the reviews however forgot to take mugs so used the cups from the bar but every time we returned to the room, the cups had been taken away so that meant another trip down to the bar. We booked this holiday last minute and the price we paid was eye watering for a 4 day holiday and for that price, I think a kettle could be included. The area surrounding the hotel is lovely, there are a few shops & supermarkets, rides & mini golf, restaurants and bars with live music at nighttime if you’re fed up of the hotel entertainment so there is something for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday & would return in a heartbeat.

Expect Great Views but Poor Food!

We have just come back from a few days here and ultimately had a good time but would be unlikely to return and felt this was much more a 3 than a 4 star hotel - and expensive for what you get.
Let’s start with the pros…

We have just come back from a few days here and ultimately had a good time but would be unlikely to return and felt this was much more a 3 than a 4 star hotel - and expensive for what you get.
Let’s start with the pros…
* There’s no denying the views here are stunning! We felt so relaxed overlooking the sea when we were sunbathing.
* All rooms have sea views (although some better than others).
* The pools were great and we never had an issue getting a spot. Umbrellas are first come first served, but if you aren’t worried about getting one, there’s loads of spaces to choose from.
* Lovely, friendly staff throughout.
* Bar service both by the pool and indoors was super speedy and we never had to queue for a drink.
* Unlimited ‘help yourself’ slushies!! Lived on these all week 😍
* Loved the pizza restaurant which is open all afternoon, great if you need a quick snack and always lots of seats.
* Clean hotel throughout.
* Really short walk to the nearby town (literally a 2 minute walk) which has bars, a pharmacy, arcade games and several shops.
* The evening shows are great fun!
Now the cons:
* I’d have to agree with other reviews, the food was really disappointing and the main thing that let this trip down. Lots of the options were cold cuts, and then the hot food had some really obscure options, and were often labelled incorrectly. Lots of fish, which made the whole restaurant smell very strongly!
* The buffet restaurant itself was very very hectic. Definitely don’t expect a relaxing evening meal. We had to queue to get into the restaurant every night, and often queued for food. Noisy and busy, which meant we tended to be in and out of the restaurant as quickly as possible! The pizza restaurant was much better so we went there for lunches.
* For an all inclusive, 4 star hotel, there was very little included. You have to pay extra for access to the safe, a kettle, bottled water and you were even excluded from the evening game of bingo if you didn’t pay 2 euros per person!! Only 6 all-inclusive cocktails to choose from and all others, such as pornstar martinis and pina coladas cost extra (approx 6 euros).
* The room was extremely small and basic. We booked twin rooms and were given a double. There was hardly any room to walk past the end of the bed it was so tight. The bathroom had no lock on the door and was so small that the whole room got soaked when we took a shower - not pleasant!
* As other reviews have mentioned, the walls are super thin. You can hear your neighbours talking, the lorries unloading deliveries and people flushing their toilets.
We had a good time, but this was largely due to being in good company and great weather, rather than the hotel itself. With a few improvements, I think this hotel could really be great, but currently not somewhere we would likely return to as others offer better value for money.

We were so close to the sea that we left our balcony door open every night to fall asleep listening to the lapping of the waves. Bliss.
The hotel is in a great location overlooking the sea with a beautiful cove just a few steps down. The views are just stunning!
We were AI and the food was very good. Never once had a cold 'hot' meal and there was always a good choice of meats, fish, salads, breads and vegetables. The snack bar near the pool was okay, we only ate there on the last day and enjoyed it.
Most of the staff were friendly but of course you always get a couple of grumps who clearly don't enjoy their job! Lol
One thing I was disappointed with was having to lift and carry your sunbed as they were left piled up for guests to deal with themselves. This is an accident waiting to happen and I hurt my shoulder doing it. Not good. They should be laid out by the employees at the start of the day.
Shops, bars and restaurants are a 5 minute walk away up the street and there was more there than I was expecting. Busy enough place but not one bit rowdy.
I would 100% recommend getting a massage from Mary Rose in her little hut overlooking the sea. It looks very basic but when inside it's idyllic. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, smells divine and the open patio doors look out onto the sea with a light breeze coming into the massage room. Mary Rose is so sweet and the massage was excellent. My shoulders didn't crack for the rest of our trip after my full body massage and I felt great!
Would recommend this hotel and would consider returning. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Ignore them!!! The hotel is spotless the cleaners do a amazing job it smells so fresh. Food is great lots of different choices for everyone, yes there is a lot fish but also different meat options I saw a post about dry chicken we didn't have dry chicken it was lovely. Restaurant staff do a great job and work so hard.
Entertainment was good enjoyed the different shows on a night.
Pools great again the area was very clean every morning I could see the staff cleaning the pool areas from early morning until they open.
Views are amazing. Plenty to do in the area, and places you can walk to. Yes transfer was a good distance but we knew that and so glad we got to see calas de Majorca.
Ignore the negativity.
