Beautiful, friendly, and highly recommended

We still have a couple of nights left on our stay here, and have had a great stay here so far. It’s clear the hotel is fresh from a refurbishment as everything feels brand new! I’ve covered different factors below:

Rooms - we have a standard mountain sea view room. It’s lovely! Safe is included and operated by room key (so handy!). Bathroom is really spacious with good lighting and all the things you might need (hairdryer, towels, etc). You can request other things like robes using the hotel app. Beds are very comfortable and air conditioning is excellent - highly effective with outgoing the sniffly feeling air con can sometimes leave you with. Plenty clothing space. There is also a small clothes dryer on the balcony wall. Rooms can be cleaned as often as you request, but we’ve stuck to every so often in line with the hotels environmental aims.
Staff - everyone is so pleasant! Bar staff are efficient and happy. Our check in was thorough in giving information - alongside a glass of champagne, no complaints there! Breakfast staff are also great and nothing is too much trouble.
Breakfast - we’re on bed and breakfast board. Breakfast is buffet style but with various options for different tastes. There is something for everyone. The fresh omelettes and poached eggs are delicious. The restaurant feels spotless, even during busy periods as staff are so attentive. Free champagne is also available with breakfast should you want it!
Pool - the pool is huge, clean, and a great temperature. There are plenty sunbeds, and there were always some available regardless of time of day. Pool towels are provided and can be changed daily if you like. The pool area gets the sun all day from 9am to late (September).
We have seen the hotel getting cleaned constantly but not overbearingly so. It’s clear there’s attention to detail and the place feels very chilled.
The location is perfect. Right opposite a shopping strip, two minutes walk to the beach, surrounded by bars and restaurants.

Excellent hotel in a great location

We’re here until 4th October. I’m mystified about the poor reviews. This is a smart modern, clean hotel. Well appointed bedrooms with VERY comfortable beds, lovely big pool and an excellent location on the Golden Mile. We’ve stayed at other 5 star hotels in Costa Adeje & I thinkWe’re here until 4th October. I’m mystified about the poor reviews. This is a smart modern, clean hotel. Newly refurbished

We stopped in the newly refurbished Med Palace hotel at the end of sept (2024).
As a family of 3 (with an almost 3 year old) we found the hotel perfect.
First of all the location is superb, I don’t think there will be many better on the island.

We stopped B&B and the breakfast was good, lots of choice and plenty available, including Prosecco if you wanted!
The room was freshly refurbished and I could not fault it, if our daughter had been 5 or older I would say the room would have been verging on too small.
The rest of the hotel again was freshly refurbished, good pool areas and communal areas, and a 1 minute walk to a nice beach. In particular the kids club was brand new and really modern.
I would recommend this hotel as a family, for the price we paid, I don’t think you could have got much better.

Stayed in the hotel from 18th September for 9 nights, the hotel has undergone a recent renovation and it shows , was allocated room. 3071 which was spotless and modern, lovely big king size bed and a sea view , Stayed on a half board basis , which youStayed in the hotel from 18th September for 9 nights, the hotel has undergone a recent renovation and it shows , was allocated room. 3071 which was spotless and modern, lovely big king size bed and a sea view , Stayed on a half board basis , which you could change dinner for lunch , which was fine, after reading many negative reviews about the food , I can see that the hotel is trying to steer away from massive buffet style system, with different cooking stations cooking fresh food of different varieties, this might not be to some guests liking as they have to wait, there are buffet options , but not to same scale another hotel's in the area.never a problem getting a sunbed as beds are plentiful and the pool area is cleaned constantly by the hard working and very friendly pool staff , that could be said about nearly everyone I spoke too they are a credit to the hotel , only fault I really noticed was the amount of guests who smoke and vape, there is a smoking area at the rear of the hotel, but guests think when there outside they can smoke anywhere, totally disgusting, the hotel needs to change there lacklustre approach, to protect the non smoking guests , more information, signage , and random checks by pool staff would help

We had a really awful time checking in when we arrived but some of the staff were very apologetic and did their best to rectify the situation. Multiple other guests had the same experience so maybe further training is needed for reception. The rooms are really clean. Plenty of sun loungers available. Breakfast is a bit chaotic but that’s down to other guests and the staff are doing their best. Lots of breakfast options available. Great to have music in the bar at night. The location is fantastic if you want to be near nice bars, restaurants and the beach.
