Quick review of the restaurant that has Asian fusion. We were served by the impeccable Norman, he made our night perfect. If you’re thinking of coming to the rixos saadiyat and come to the restaurant be sure to ask for your man Norman!! Wonderful hotel set on an amazing Beach

Check in is 3pm so if you arrive early be prepared with change of clothes etc so you can begin your holiday straight away.

There are plenty of comfortable beds around the pool and beach. Did not expect the beach to be so beautiful, keep your eyes peeled - we were lucky to spot dolphins. Also enjoyed activities in the pool - acqa spin/boxing/pole.
The Al La carte restaurants are very good, make sure you book ahead to ensure you get in them all. There is a small charge for the teppanyaki restaurant but it’s worth it. Try out the signature cocktails in the restaurants.
Excellent choice of branded spirits at all the bars & lovely coffees in the lobby bar.
It was nice to have something going on in the evening, live music followed by a DJ in Savanna Sol.
For those travelling without children there is an adult only area in the restaurant and sunbeds in the garden however a section of the pool would also have been nice. There is a children’s pool area with slides etc but seems a waste as nobody was using it.
All the staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for us.
Was our 3rd Rixos and would like to return.

Incredible family vacation

My partner and I joined a family holiday at the Rixos, there were so many positive things to say about this hotel. Where to start, the rooms are amazing, so too the facilities and the service. Most days we would base ourselves by the pool where we were very wellMy partner and I joined a family holiday at the Rixos, there were so many positive things to say about this hotel. Where to start, the rooms are amazing, so too the facilities and the service. Most days we would base ourselves by the pool where we were very well looked after by Efalbera.
She made my whole family feel so special, she was very proactive, she knew exactly what we wanted everyday, secured us cool boxes with water and regularly skate by to check we had everything we needed. She is a credit to the Rixos team and this level of service without a shadow of a doubt makes Rixos a cut above the rest.
Sunsets by the beach from 4pm onwards were incredible (would highly recommend sunset pictures here) while the first part of our trip we thought the beach bar lacked atmosphere/ music, across the last 3 days they had a dj playing music over the sunset which was perfect - a highlight of the day.
The restaurants were all amazing but perhaps a bit soulless, most were empty at 8-8.30 so maybe that was late for some people!
For a family vacation you couldn’t ask for more but for the adult couples joining a family, the hotel lacked a bit of atmosphere in the evenings - we felt it lacked another bar with some chilled out music.
All in all, if you’re looking for a family trip away, this hotel does not disappoint and would highly recommend.

Exceptional location , beautiful hotel with amazing staff .

Having arrived after an overnight flight , the only one BA provide we were met by the very friendly staff at Rixos Saadiyat .First impressions were good , beautiful lobby with gorgeous furniture and furnishings, views to the resort , lovely staff at reception, and excellent service.
OnHaving arrived after an overnight flight , the only one BA provide we were met by the very friendly staff at Rixos Saadiyat .First impressions were good , beautiful lobby with gorgeous furniture and furnishings, views to the resort , lovely staff at reception, and excellent service.
On checking in we were told the room was not available, we expected this as it often isn't when arriving early in the morning. Having been told we would receive a Wattsapp message when the room was available we made our way with our very excited grandsons to the beautiful Turquoise restaurant where breakfast was incredible. Staff could not be more attentive and the complete service was exceptional .
After breakfast we headed to the pool obviously very tired , we found 4 sunbeds with ease where we hoped to relax. Unfamiliar with the hotel we sat and waited for someone to approach us with towels but it became evident you get your own from towel stands around the pool .We pressed the buzzer found on the sun umbrella table around 6 times but still no-one came, other half went to the pool bar where he was told press your buzzer , eventually a young lad came to help and found the buzzer didn't work!
Cold drinks and water eventually arrived , boys off to the pool and relax in the shade.
At 3pm with no wattsapp message received I went to reception to enquire if our room was ready , faced with blank faces it became evident we had been forgotten. No bother we were soon shown to our family suite which was perfect although again the sofa bed wasn't made up as requested and it took some time to get it done . Not a good start to the holiday .
Happy to say everything improved drastically from then on , every restaurant we frequented was beautiful and the food excellent. The Aqua shack at the wave pool was the boys favourite for lunch , we couldn't get them away from the area they enjoyed it so much .
They loved the Teen Club and spent 2 hrs during the hottest part of the day in there and 2 hrs after dinner. Accessible via the lobby and a walk around the gardens it was the icing on the cake for them .
Unfortunately we didn't spend much time at the main pool , it was incredibly busy , people with drinks at every edge of the pool and a problem with the cooling system ,we chose to spend it around the wave pool and splash park. Slightly dissapointed and hope the pool is a nicer environment should we return .
Evening drinks at The Lobby bar was a lovely relaxing time with comfortable seating , sometimes difficult to find seats and too hot to sit outside . The quality of drinks was fine as it doesn't really bother us if we drink or not ,I did hear people complain about some cocktails but mine were delicious .
The room was kept beautifully clean at all times , our room attendant was exceptional and very friendly with the boys who came back to find animals made from towels every day. The general cleanliness is outstanding, staff are very friendly and offer exceptional service .
One thing to mention is there is a beautiful star shaped fountain in the lobby, unfortunately I fell over this and really hurt my previously broken wrist .No one came to help and when I managed to get up and made my way to reception the staff quickly arranged for me to visit the first aid room and escorted me . I saw a lovely male nurse who examined my wrist and leg and told me nothing broken so I was very relieved .What I found surprising was that no one followed it up or contacted me to ask if I was ok.This is very unusual for any hotel that we have visited in the UAE and we've been to a lot .
Despite the few failures, we did have a lovely time and our grandsons are very keen to return.
Would we return , yes but would be more aware of everything and more proactive as we tend to sit back and are not demanding in any way .
The hotel is on my favourite beach , is truly beautiful , has the most amazing staff, service and excellent food .
I hope this isn't found a negative review as it isn't meant to be, I'm honest in all reviews I've previously made.
I'd like to thank the following staff who went above and beyond our expectations, their friendly and exceptional service was a joy .
Saurad our housekeeping assistant, you truly made our holiday special, our suite was kept exceptional at all times , nothing was too much trouble and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts .You are a credit to Rixos and hope to see you again when we return .
Arvin @ Turquoise. Thank you for your exceptional and attentive service , friendly manner and lovely way you spoke with the boys , they loved the chocolate milk and apple juice which arrived without asking .You are a credit to Rixos .
Norman @ Aja. Your knowledge of the menu was extremely helpful in us making the right choices of the excellent food we received. You have such a pleasant friendly manner it made our evening quite special, thank you so much you are a credit to Rixos .
One last thing , there was not one member of staff who wasn't professional in their job , everyone gave their all at all times .
