Beautiful little hotel

This is a beautiful little hotel just around the corner from the Moulin Rouge. It’s about a 30 minute walk from Gard du Nord station. The staff are so friendly and the rooms are lovely. I would certainly stay here again for my next stay in Paris.

Wonderful Quaint Experience

My wife booked this as a surprise for my Birthday! Beautiful old building right around the corner from Moulin Rouge. We had a quaint room with a lovely bath. Staff were exceptional and the experience was truly memorable. They even offered packages for special occasions- ours included champagne and handmade

The elevator is tiny which only added to the charm.

Cozy little gem

Small and cozy hotel. Reception team always kind, nice and helpful. Is a small gem located close to Mont-maître and Moulin Rouge.
Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy breakfast as we decided to have it in different places in town. But with no doubt we will stay back in this hotel.

So my partner surprised me with a beautiful weekend stay in Paris for my birthday.

The room was beautifully decorated but small. No view but luckily we was exploring alot so didn't have too much of an impact.
Breakfast was tasty we did have alittle difficulty in communication and ended up missing breakfast one day but the staff were extremely apologetic.
And staff were pleasant.
Overall it was a lovely stay.
Reason for 4 star are the following: (my boyfriend doesn't have TripAdvisor and told me to make notes of:
Don't book through booking.com book direct. The website is incredibly misleading. It made out there was parking included and there is not it took us over an hour to find parking and cost £100 for the weekend.
The photos are misleading. He said he paid extra for a room upgrade and the room was very small so we would hate to imagine what a standard room would look like.
The air con simply does not work it was boiling.
We would stay again but we would book direct, learn a bit of french and would recommend actually finding parking and choose a hotel based on the parking situation. Also don't go in a big car.... We went in the truck... Big mistake ha luckily my bf is a brilliant driver.

So first impression of the outside was very concerning a very narrow entrance to the very small reception. The lady that checked us in was very polite and helpful. Our room was very small but clean and comfortable, however you had to go sideways through the door to the bathroom
So first impression of the outside was very concerning a very narrow entrance to the very small reception. The lady that checked us in was very polite and helpful. Our room was very small but clean and comfortable, however you had to go sideways through the door to the bathroom as so narrow and you could open the window and look out while sat on the toilet! On having a shower on the first night there was no hot water. We were told it would be fixed in an hour, however we were due at the Moulin Rouge ( very convenient for this venue as literally just round the corner) so a cold shower it was. Breakfast was like being at Faulty Towers! A very tiny room with 5 small round tables each with 2 chairs. Breakfast was cooked in the same room in a tiny space on I can only assume a portable stove. Your choice was made the night before and as you walked in were asked your room number. The sheet you filled in was then looked at and this is where the fun began! Any pasties you ordered, off they would go to the bakery ( where I have no idea) down the road I believe! You were left waiting until they returned from the bakery. I was served pancakes before my egg and bacon. It was all very bizarre. At 15 euros per person was to be quite honest a joke. This hotel is clearly not set up for breakfast! I would stay at the hotel again for its location but forget breakfast.
