Day 1

Arrive at Cape Town International Airport, where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore Cape Town’s vibrant culture, scenic beauty, and cuisine.

Day 2

Visit Table Mountain (cable car ticket excluded, weather permitting). Drive along Chapman’s Peak to Cape Point Nature Reserve. Stop at Boulders Beach to see the African penguin colony (entrance fee at own cost). Visit Muizenberg Beach, famous for its colourful beach huts. Explore Groot Constantia Wine Estate, with a wine tasting and souvenir glass.Alternative tour: Babylonstoren Wine Farm Experience with cheese and wine tasting at Fairview and a visit to Babylonstoren’s botanical gardens.

Day 3

Depart for the Garden Route via Sir Lowry’s Pass. Visit Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa. Travel through Swellendam, Tradouw Pass, and Barrydale along Route 62. Enjoy dinner at an Ostrich Farm featuring local specialties.

Day 4

Tour the Cango Caves, a spectacular limestone cavern system. Take an interactive tractor tour at an Ostrich Farm. Enjoy a wine tasting in the Oudtshoorn region.

Day 5

Travel via Outeniqua Pass to George. Visit Wilderness before reaching Knysna, the "Oyster Box" of South Africa. Enjoy a traditional South African lunch en route. Experience a sunset cruise on Knysna Lagoon.

Day 6

Visit Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary, an award-winning rehabilitation project. Explore Knysna Heads for breathtaking views. Travel to Brenton on Sea, known for its unspoiled beaches.

Day 7

Visit Birds of Eden Sanctuary, the world’s largest free-flight aviary. Stop at Bloukrans Bridge, home to the highest commercial bungee jump. Explore Tsitsikamma National Park & Storms River Mouth (weather permitting).

Day 8

Drive to Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) for a flight to Johannesburg. Arrive and transfer to your hotel.

Day 9

Visit Soccer City Stadium, where Nelson Mandela gave his first speech post-prison. Drive through Diepkloof and Kliptown, the site of the Freedom Charter. Stop at Regina Mundi Church and Vilakazi Street, home to two Nobel Prize winners: Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu. Tour the Hector Pieterson Memorial and Apartheid Museum.

Day 10

Enjoy a day at leisure or opt for a tour to Maropeng, the Cradle of Mankind. Explore Nelson Mandela Square for shopping and dining.

Day 11

Travel to Hazyview Sun, your gateway to Kruger National Park. After freshening up, enjoy an afternoon game drive in a closed touring vehicle. Spot Africa’s famous Big Five in their natural habitat.

Day 12

Start with early morning coffee or tea followed by an open-vehicle game drive with an English-speaking ranger. Optional (own account) visit to the Kruger Park Anti-Poaching Dog Unit. Enjoy an afternoon game drive for more wildlife sightings.

Day 13

Explore the Panorama Route, featuring: God’s Window – breathtaking views of the Lowveld, Blyde River Canyon – the third-largest canyon in the world, Three Rondavels – iconic rock formations, Bourke’s Luck Potholes – natural rock formations and waterfalls.

Day 14

After breakfast, transfer back to Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport.
