  Amazing stay at edola

  Great stay! We stayed at edola for a week in late June, and everything was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was kept clean everyday by the nice staff. The two (brothers?) men who operated the reception and bar were both very nice, polite and helpful all the way through. Note: edola is a little further down the main road of saranda (but very much within walking range of the city!!) which means less noise from surrounding clubs, bars, cars etc. Would most definitely recommend staying here!

  Absolutely a great and clean hotel with delicious breakfast

  Wonderful, tidy, small and recently renewed family-owned hotel. The breakfast buffé was fabulous and very comprehensive in my opinion; tea, basic filtered coffee, several options of bread, cheese, vegetables, juices, cerials, yoghurt, fried eggs, loads of various fresh fruit - you name it.My room was modern and clean with a very good, firm double bed! Fully new air-conditioner and fridge in the room.Furnished balcony. Good working Wifi.Above all, the hotel owners and staff were absolutely great, so incredibly helpful, friendly and polite. They help you with anything you need❤️ I warmly recommend Hotel Edola.

  Small family owned hotel in a quiet part of Saranda

  I stayed at this hotel for a week in a middle of August. When the whole town was crowded with mostly Italians, Hotel Edola was a peaceful place in a more quiet part of the town. No clubs and no noice in a neighborough!Staff was very friendly and polite even though their language skills were little bit limited... Nice smiles helped with understanding.Breakfast was good and a view from the bar was fantastic. Pool area was brand new and clean.I was travelling alone and I got a big room for three all by myself. There was a normal sized fridge in a room, a huge and comfortable bed and an efficient air con. Room was clean and smelled fresh. Only negative thing was a bathroom. Shower curtain in a bathroom was so poorly installed, it didn,t cover much and after shower bathroom was all wet. There was no shelf or desk for toiletries in a bathroom.

  we booked a room with this hotel via booking. They ended up cancelling our room at midnight, the night before we were meant to check in.Didn't end up seeing the email as we went to bed early as we had some travel ahead of us.We didn't end up going to Sarande due to lack of last minute booking offers.

  Bullies never win...

  It's hard to understand how a country of such lovely and energetic people could support the underhanded practices of a few. After booking through hotels.com the reservation, we were told to take an apartment a few streets away and threatened after finding that unacceptable. Fortunately, we love this country and its people and immediately found a beautiful hotel and amazing cocktail bar across the street. 1 love, Albania!
