  Avoid at all costs, especially if solo female traveller

  There were so many things wrong with this place but I will start with the most serious one. The rooms were accessible from the street and we did not feel safe staying in this hotel. Literally you can walk off the street, through an archway, and straight down the corridor where our rooms were without the need for any key or access card. We were booked in for 3 nights, the first 2 nights I barely got any sleep due to noises outside my door and generally feeling unsafe. I had to push the furniture in my room up against the door as there was no bolt lock, only a card lock. We ended up leaving a night early and booking another hotel. I have stayed in some rough spots over the years and this is the first time I have ever left early.On top of this, the receptionist was rude when I told her we felt unsafe, at first she tried to lie and say they have a guard at the gate (they do not) and then when I explained why we did not feel safe having our rooms directly accessible from the street she got offended.The 2 other issues are that there is no breakfast even though it is advertised and the rooms are not cleaned, even though the info in the room says there is a daily cleaning service.

  Perfect City Center Gem in Tirana!

  Hotel Relax City CenterComfort Double RoomStayed: Feb 5-6, 2026 | Rating: 5/5Location was spot on—5 minutes walk from Toptani Shopping Centre, right by a really fancy kenefa place, next to the big masjid, and surrounded by everything and all types of shops someone might need.Staff was really nice and helpful; they provided us with recommendations when we asked and even gave us a charger since we didn't have a European plug.The room was really nice and comfy, with ACs and heating within them—definitely worth £39 and we'll be visiting again!

  We came here a year ago, and since then, they have renovated the whole place, making it very pleasant.The reception staff is incredibly helpful and sweet.We had a small issue with the Wi-Fi at the beginning, but the reception quickly helped us resolve it.Overall, a great experience, right in the heart of Tirana!

  The internet is usually down. Don't expect to be able to do any work online. I asked them to make some calls, get a repairman but they said that was not possible. "Internet is intenet, they told me. Nothing possible."Otherwise the location and the rooms are excellent.

  Although I reserved a room with breakfast, there was no restaurant, no dining room, no breakfast. One bread and a bottle of water was offered in the varandah after making me wait for half an hour. ( at 08.30 Hours).They were obviously racist in their approach.
