Very good location and nice and friendly staff. The room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. It was a little bit noisy at times but it was fine. There were free toiletries in the bathroom and the shower looked good but unfortunately the water came out everywhere when having a shower as there is no shower wall which left the floor being all wet. The breakfast was nice, they changed it up a bit day by day but I did enjoy the stay there.

Hotel Senator is the best option to stay n Tirana. Excellent location, service, good food and especially the front desk. We are staying here for the second time and will come again. We will miss the faboulous breakfast in Hotel Senator!!!!!!

Overall, this hotel provided a satisfactory experience during my five-night stay over the Easter break. However, I believe it falls short of its advertised four-star rating and would more aptly be classified as a decent three-star hotel. While there are positive aspects to highlight, such as the spacious rooms and comfortable beds, several issues detracted from the overall experience.One significant issue was the inconsistency in room amenities and cleanliness. On the first night, the absence of functioning air conditioning in the room made it very uncomfortable to sleep. Despite of the weather reaching to 27C during the day. Staff members recommended not to open the windows, so you can imagine how hot the room was with no windows opened and no A/C. I’ve asked for a fan but they din’t have one. Luckily I was not the only guests complaining and the following day the A/C was on and I had a great night sleep. Subsequent nights saw lapses in basic housekeeping, with missing toiletries and unattended cleanliness issues. Although these problems were reported to the reception, they persisted throughout the stay. (ie missing toilet paper one night, another night no soaps or hand towels, etc)Regarding the bathroom, while it boasted ample space and cleanliness, the design of the wet room-style shower led to water splattering outside the designated area, posing safety hazards and necessitating additional towel usage, contradicting the hotel's eco-friendly claims.Breakfast offered a decent variety, but temperature issues detracted from the dining experience( it was either very hot or too cold). Malfunctioning equipment, such as the toaster (not working properly) and buffet heating trays (not being used - hence no hot food), required constant assistance from staff, indicating a lack of maintenance and organisation.One notable observation was the absence of a managerial presence, which contributed to a sense of improvisation and hindered efficient problem-solving.Despite positive interactions with the friendly and accommodating staff, the overall experience did not align with the hotel's purported four-star standard. Consequently, I would classify it as a competent three-star establishment, failing to meet the expectations set by its previous reviews.

Good location, friendly staff, but a few a niggles!

Good location with only about 10 mins walk from main sights. Most of the hotel staff were friendly. Bed was large and very comfy. Room was spacious and good value. Didn't pay the surcharge for breakfast so can't comment. Room wasn't the cleanest. Found hairs on toilet and sink and carpets are dusty. Main reception area is really nice. Lovely hot shower but not very powerful.

Amazing staff who went above and beyond especially for our child. Great location in a lovely city. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Breakfast was nicely prepared and had sweet and savoury options. Room was slightly tired but would stay here again.
