Location

The hotel is located next to Lake Nahuel Huapi, and lies only 3 km away from the civic centre and downtown Bariloche. It is a 20-minute drive to the ski region of Cerro, and Bariloche Airport is just 15 km away.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 78 non-smoking rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with individually adjustable heating. Guests can relax on the balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Sport

Excellent swimming awaits guests at the indoor pool. Parasols on the terrace are also available. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. The hotel offers a variety of outdoor sports, including tennis. For a fee, guests can also enjoy cycling/mountain biking and golf. The hotel's location is particularly ideal for skiers. After an eventful day, guests can work out and recharge in the gym. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna and a steam bath. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a breakfast room and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. For lunch and dinner, guests can order à la carte. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    After a two night stay, I left my reading glasses in the hotel together with a new silver pendant for my daughter. The maid found the items and promptly forwarded them to her manager. As we were going to be in Buenos Aires for one night, the manager suggested that it might be safer to give them to one of their employees who was coming to BA to hand them in to our hotel, how amazingly efficient and kind is that! They wanted no payment for everything they did. It has restored my faith in humanity.     Everything was excellent. We stayed in the room with the indoor jacuzzi, which was incredibly comfortable and well-maintained. A huge highlight was the staff: very kind and responsive. The restaurant and swimming pool also offer a stunning view of Bariloche. The location is also very good - peaceful, yet only 10 minutes away from the city center. Highly recommended!     Excellent facilities perfectly located in a mind blowing part of the world

    Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Design Suites. The staff were polite, friendly and always ready to help.The rooms were a great size and designed to show off an exquisite view, either on the balcony or in the jacuzzi. The buffet breakfast had plenty of options, as did the restaurant. We ate lunch and dinner there on multiple occasions. The hotel is on the right side of the town for all the attractions tins including Patagonia brewery (a must visit), Llao Llao hotel and the chair lift. We will be back.     Love this hotel!

    This is a special hotel. Interesting design, lovely views and a nice setting (better than being town in my opinion). Our suite was huge with a balcony and jacuzzi bath. Good breakfast, lunch and dinner available too. The bed was a bit too soft for us but that is a personal thing. Totally recommend.
