    Not What It Looks Like!

    rating10 Oct 2023

    1. 5 nights in 1st room - wrote a negative review! Got moved to another room for the remaining 9 nights2. More modern room but: A. Construction above & below, i.e., hammering, sawing, drilling, etc., ALL DAY (8am - 8pm) sounds like a war zone! B. Next to service elevator, lots of noise from employees who slam room doors, bang service carts, etc.3. No view out my windows, looking directly into hotel rooms across a very narrow street4. Horrible, very weak Wi-Fi connection in room5. Only 2 English speaking TV NEWS stations6. TV/cable constantly turning itself OFF7. Limited electrical outlets8. Exact same foods @ breakfast buffet EVERYDAY9. Rooftop pool is old and dirty (looks nothing like the pictures). Must take elevator to 14th floor & walk UP two additional floors10. After walking UP two floors to pool area, MUST walk DOWN one floor to gym area11. Ventilation system doesn't know the difference between cool & heat12. VERY noisy hotel! Extremely friendly and helpful staff!

The rooms and halls are a bit doggy. Some of the power sockets don’t work. The staff is quite slow and rude. The dining room is really noisy and the tables there were not quite clean. No coffee machine. I don't think that this hotel has a good value for money.

    Hotel ok, management weirdly bad

    rating02 Aug 2022

The hotel is ok, dated but clean, centrally located, beds are decent. Staff is all very nice, for food service and housekeeping, but management is weirdly bad. First room, the jacuzzi jets didn’t work and they never fixed it and never got back to us, which was no big deal. But then a couple days later the tub started leaking into the hallway, so they had to move us. For some reason moved us to a way worse room, window opening onto a concrete wall, and the place acts as an echo chamber for the whole rest of the floor. I haven’t really slept since, with hearing every door and footstep louder in the room than it is in the hall. Just had a swimming pool reservation for 8:00 tonight, and they locked the pool door instead, and turned out the lights when we knocked. I won’t miss this hotel.

    Very convenient hotel !

On the main avenue, night next to the Opera House and the Pyramid - public transport is 1 minute walk from the hotel. Rooms are big, very clean and comfortable - the quality of the bed guarantees you a good night sleep after a long flight or day in the city. The breakfast buffet is big and caters for every taste. VERY friendly people at the check-in !

Don’t trust the descriptions or images

    rating11 Nov 2019

My wife and I stayed here during a 4 day trip to Buenos Aires. We were dramatically disappointed by everything except the staff. Here are our primary issues.1. The “gym”: The photos looked like this hotel had a small but adequate fitness center. The booking site never specified that the gym (and pool) is only open from 11:00am - 7:00pm. This makes zero sense for guest who workout in the morning. The worst part about the gym was how run down, non-maintained, and lacking I’m the equipment was (see pictures). There were sweat stains on the treadmills and bikes that were cleaned from the first day we arrived to four days later. There are holes in the roof above the gym so water pools inside. The machines are from the 80’s and are covered in rust and stains. 2. The pool: While it was similar to the photos, overall it was much smaller than you’d expect. Comfortably 2-3 people can fit inside. Which means if a family is already inside, you’re out of luck. As mentioned above, the hours suck. 3. The hot tub: This thing looked like something out of a horror film. It was drained of water, filthy dirty, in an awkward spot in the room, and not labeled when it would be fixed. Again, the hours sucked. 4. Wall outlets: the wall outlets were all awkwardly gapped and out wall chargers would fall out. This happens when old outlets aren’t able to apply pressure to the male end. Regardless, one more annoyance. The only thing redeeming about this place was the hard working staff. I still can not recommend this location at all.
