San Telmo is a historic BA neighborhood with plenty of street art installations, people watching and great thrift shops to keep you occupied for several days. This hotel embodies the spirit of the neighborhood-safe, lovely and historic without being pretentious. Staff were friendly and accommodating (refilling my water bottle, holding onto my luggage after checking out, helping me navigate to a place to change money) without complaints or judgement. I also love the location, which is walking distance to La Boca neighborhood, amazing shops and restaurants and only 8 minutes from the nearest subway stop; additionally, Uber drivers never had trouble finding me here. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated this.

A fantastic location in San Telmo. Incredibly helpful staff. Quirky boutique hotel. Rooms quite small but very comfortable. Price meant I was able to put my all female group in single rooms which was a huge plus for us. Good breakfast. Lots of stairs but staff helped with baggage. I would definitely come back.

Second visit - still fantastic.

This was my second visit to this hotel, and again I'd not hesitate to give L'Adresse five stars right across the board. Everything I said in my October 24 review (see below) is still absolutely the case, and in fact even more so. All of the staff - not just the ones you see out front but also the ones behind the scenes maintaining the rooms - are so caring and considerate. Not only did they respond to any needs or queries but they often anticipated them too. They showed great interest in my plans, and had lots of advice and suggestions, and afterwards they were keen to know how things went. They helped me to feel really engaged, not just with the experience of the hotel but with the amazing city of Buenos Aires.Staying here really is like staying with very attentive friends, and you can have every confidence that they'll be there to help when you need them. And I'll keep on coming back!
