  My husband and I spent 4 nights at this lovely hotel. We should have only spent 2 nights there with a 2 night visit to The Iguazu Falls before returning home to England after a 21 cruise to Antarctica. However on arriving at the hotel we were both unwell and requested to stay an extra 2 nights at the hotel in stead of flying to The Falls. The reception could not have been more helpful and very kindly let us keep our same room for the 4 nights. 0ur special thanks to Jenny the lovely receptionist who checked us in and even brought our luggage to our room and also to Lily who was also very kind. A big thankyou to all the other staff and we would certainly recommend this hotel to our friends. The breakfast was also excellent and the location.   I treated this an average stay as nothing was particularly outstanding . A good location - central and close to the local airport for transfers to Iguazu Falls . We were given a large room on our arrival - spacious . This was great as we had just left our cruise so we had 4 suitcases and bags . The room was spacious but dark . The tv is on a pole which seemed an odd placement . No mirror for getting ready - make up etc We were going to Iguazu Falls for 2 nights and we were assured that this was our room , and we could leave everything in there . We did in fact leave our big cases packed and locked and took everything else with us . On our return after Iguazu Fall , 2 days later at midnight , they had moved our luggage and told us we had been moved to another room . Our cases were behind the front desk . We now had 4 cases again to manoeuvre to the new room (no assistance offered) . The new room was a standard room - which confusingly looks like one labelled as “superior?” . It was standard room which was tiny and dark . This was not the room which had been booked on our confirmation booking . It was very late and we were tired . Early next morning we queried this and indeed we had been given the wrong room . In fairness to the staff this was remedied while we had breakfast and we were given the correct room - which was spacious and very nice . If you are booking here there are works outside going on so be aware on the 3rd floor . The standard rooms are not big enough if you are travelling with large suitcases or 4 suitcases.Average breakfast . Not much hot food available and not many gluten free options - apart from 2 dusty jars on a shelf which were half filled and not labelled to show what was in them . Had to go looking for fresh cups and glasses as tables not cleared quickly . Finally - door security and bag storage . Surprised there was no proper storage for your luggage - bags are stored behind a small front desk and could easily be taken. Often just one person on the front door and we sorted all our own bags out - little or no assistance offered . A lovely hotel but with issues which could be resolved please .   Hotel OK but security poor

  The hotel is OK, some good features but our main issue was security. The entrance is dark and security is at door during the day but not at night. My wife and I had dinner and walked back to hotel at 21;30 but as I held door open, my wife’s 2 gold chains were ripped from her neck. On that basis I would not recommend staying there. Little help from front desk and spent 4/5 hours at various police stations reporting the theft.
