Lovely boutique hotel across from Recoleta cemetery

    rating01 May 2026

We checked into this cute boutique hotel right across from Recoleta cemetery. We had a room facing an interior view and as we were heading out to explore, the door to the room across the hall was open and I saw the view overlooking the cemetery and said to my husband “look at that awesome view” Get back a couple hours later and they stopped us at the front and asked if we would like to be upgraded for free to a room with the view 🤩 how amazing is that?! The manager overheard me say that in the hallway and they moved us and wow, the view was amazing! Very nice boutique hotel, and even better people! Highly recommend

    Local Experience

    rating19 Mar 2026

We stayed for one night at the hotel, choosing the hotel based on it's location. The hotel is walking distance from museums, parks and restaurants. We found the evening front desk clerk (sorry I forgot his name) to be extremely helpful. He gave us walking directions and restaurant recommendations. The hotel kept our luggage while we toured the city before our night flight. We stayed in the "penthouse", 801, which has a large balcony that overlooks Recoleta cemetery. One can hear the elevator in the room. The room has a refrigerator and a cook top. My only complaint with the room is the pillows. They are narrow and hard. Breakfast is included. It is served in the lobby and it is off a menu. The food was average. The toast and muffins were overcooked. This is a boutique hotel, and as such we don't expect perfection. It provided just what we wanted, a local experience.

Gorgeous View in a Great Neighborhood

    rating25 Jan 2026

I chose this hotel because of its amazing view over Recoleta Cemetery. We only stayed here one night, but waking in the early morning to watch the sun rise over the cemetery from our balcony is one of my favorite memories from Buenos Aires. We were in a Deluxe Double Room, and it was huge, modern, and bright, with a big sitting area, a little kitchenette, and a large bathroom. When we checked in, the AC was not on, and it was very hot in our room. My husband turned the AC on, and unfortunately, it worked a little too well. Before we knew it, it was freezing and we couldn’t manage to regulate the room’s temperature. Just something to be aware of! The room was a little worn in places, but nothing major, and no cleanliness issues. Unlike most hotels that include breakfast, breakfast here is not a buffet. Instead, it is made to order. Another thing to be aware of if you are in a rush and expecting to quickly grab something and go. Options were a little limited for vegetarians, but the food was good. After this, we moved to a different hotel in Palermo, but I actually preferred this hotel – both for the neighborhood and the hotel itself.

Outstanding Boutique Hotel in the best Bruno’s Aires location

    rating17 Jan 2026

Lovely boutique hotel frequented by Argentinians, Europeans, etc. We had 3 rooms, each with a pretty city view in an excellent location. The hotel is safe, clean, quiet allowing for a good night’s sleep after a full day of being out all day exploring this vibrant, beautiful, cosmopolitan city, especially with very comfortable beds and pillows! Everyone working at the hotel is friendly, helpful, efficient, professional. It easily felt like a second home! The breakfasts which are included are delicious especially the incredible, full bodied coffee. Highly recommend Sileo and look forward to returning!

    My view Sileo Hotel

    rating27 Dec 2025

The hotel is compact in public areas by lifts with room doors close to each other. Rooms (referring to ours) are very good and spacious however my biggest gripe is that the TV has only Spanish channels no CNN or BBC as did every other hotel we stayed, this must be seriously considered to attract international guests. The noise in public areas on floors are noisy.Location is great with restaurants nearby and a mall. Staff very friendly and English speaking. First day initial review.
