Location

The hotel is located in the middle of a park which is 17 acres in size and surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. It is just 3 km from the city of Puerto Iguazu and 15 km from the Iguazu Falls.

    Drastically overpriced, extremely rundown. Housekeeping was for the most part nonexistent. What the property lacks, the staff at the front desk and at the morning buffet made up for it. Very helpful.

    They charged me for a fee that was never disclosed at booking and of course it wasn’t in my voucher. To do the check in they asked for everyone’s passports I thought they wanted to check ID’s but not only that they took photocopies of every single page of the passport even for kids they argued that this was a requirement from Expedia.com to check immigration status! Room was dirty, cockroaches and even a scorpion in the bathroom. Pool was dirty plus a frog that nobody came to took out of the pool. The other pool the floor and walls were green and even cables came out of a whole were you can see there was a light before. Personnel doesn’t help at all plus the manager was rude and disrespectful at the check in. There is a long walk to your room that has no lights. Be ready to lift your luggage because there is no path to your room the floor is rocks and grass. Rooms have no phone to communicate with front desk. This place has no maintenance at all. Restaurant is clean but doesn’t have too much food choices. Don’t recommend it at all.

    We arrived at 2.30pm; did paperwork etc; at 2.40pm were told checkin was at 3pm and we had too wait. Not sure why. Were escorted to the room (because of distance) and the room had a double bed even though we had requested two single beds. Back to reception- who all of a sudden became over friendly and apologetic. Another long walk to another wing and we had our room - now 3.45pm Room clean but very basic. In the morning NO hot water for a shower. No telephone in room so could not contact reception. Had breakfast because of a tour and informed reception on the way out. He made a note and promised to look into it. Upon our return water was warm but not hot. The next morning it was hot. No apology or explanation given. Good was quite acceptable and breakfast was of a good standard and variety.

    This hotel is rather dated, and there were a few problems. Staff was friendly, and even printed our boarding passes. It seems that there is no longer a business centre with computers/printer for that purpose.We had room 51, which was a decent size.Good bed and pillows. The bidet leaked and the solution was to place towels around it. Warm water only the second day. As it is winter, no one used the two pools, but they appeared to be well maintained. The evening buffet and breakfast buffet were adequate, but nothing exceptional. The breakfast is included with the room. There are really no other options besides going into town,as this location is more remote. The pavers and rock walkways are difficult for walking, especially for someone with an ankle problem. Poorly lit in places, so bring a torch/flashlight. Internet only in lobby and restaurant, but that was fine for a few days. Booked as part of a package deal from an agency in BSAS.Fine for two nights, and we were there, like many others, for the falls.

    Everything was going good till Christmas eve arrive, we asked in 22nd if was going to be a dinner at hotel restaurant on 24th receptionist told us it was going to be, we asked like 3 times to be sure they told us that will be a good dinner, when 24th arrive there were nothing! We got mad about it, they recommend us a restaurant suppose was going to be a discount but was nothing, we spend a lot of money in a dinner just because receptionist didn't tell us about dinner.
