    We booked this hotel based on many positive reviews we had read and so glad we did. Reception staff made for a very smooth check in. The hotel is set in ‘rain forest’ surroundings and going to sleep at night to the sound of the wild life outside is pretty soothing. We ate at the hotel restaurant on 2 separate occasions and can only describe the food as outstanding, as was the wine!! Restaurant staff were friendly, attentive and efficient which made for a great experience.There was a large variety of choice at breakfast to suit all tastes.Special mention to the reception staff who was always happy to help translate messages and help with airline check ins which were all written in Spanish! Thank you for your help and patience- it was very appreciated!Anyone looking for a high quality hotel when visiting the waterfalls, I would strongly recommend staying here.     We stayed here for 2 nights to visit the Iguazu falls. The hotel is quite nice and in a good location, close to the airport and Argentinian side of the falls. We had a standard room with a small balcony looking out to the jungle. The staff were good and mostly helpful and the girl checking us in gave us all the times and information we needed. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The air-conditioning was noisy and seemed to operate on only one fan speed, and I think on some kind of timer because ours turned itself off a few times.We ate at the restaurant on the first night and found the food to be quite expensive and a bit ordinary so the next night we ordered toasted sandwiches from the bar, that was really good and much better value. The breakfast was ok but the hot food was mostly lukewarm and a bit limited. There was a good selection of other food and juices and they have a coffee machine which was great and easy to use. You can refill water bottles in the restaurant or at the bar as needed.They had a free wine tasting in the late afternoon, I think as a way to get people into the restaurant.     Check in was quick however we were not given any information about the hotel, timings or facilities available - on eavesdropping on another couple checking in later we realised how little we were informed. Found out even more from reviews on here we should have been told. We were also given tour information by reception that belonged to someone else! Not very confidential. Breakfast just ok. Evening meals were however very good as were cocktails from pool bar. Room large but smelt of damp. Had dirty crockery & chipped flooring... certainly not luxury. Location was perfect for the falls.

    This stay was part work part pleasure. The location is beautiful and it is wonderful to hear the rain coming down on the jungle foliage outside your room, whilst lying in a very comfortable bed and taking advantage of a modern bathroom. I particularly liked the balcony with mosquito cover on the glass doors. To be able to open it at night and hear nature is just wonderful. To take a hotel from very good to great is often thanks to the staff. And here the staff were exceptional. The front desk team, the three gentlemen who helped me with my endless questions - all of them are a credit to the hotel. The restaurant was fine; the service could be slow and disorganised but the food was good so I tended to not worry about it. Special thanks for sorting out my various taxis and trips. All of you were very helpful. The room was large and clean and the bathroom modern and spacious. The whole place is lovely - the outdoor pool and bar is fantastic too.
