    Don't listen to the whiners!

If they want a fully English-speaking staff let them go to a 5-star chain hotel. This is common if you travel a lot. We needed some help with phone chargers and other issues and they helped right away. The place is ownsome. 3 stars cabin, old, but roomy, decent beds and washroom. Perfect for a two-days stay. The setting is amazing, lots of vegetation and green space, small but clean pool. Breakfast could be better but this applies to many other restaurants in Argentina. You won't find the place that easy, can't even see it from the street, small board at the entrance, see pictures, but all drivers know the place. Lots of good restaurants in the area. We tried 2, on March 5 and 6, excellent BBQ. Bottom line, for a short stay withing a budget this place is very good.

    Really enjoyable stay

    rating03 Feb 2020

Clean, comfortable accommodation. Nice walk to Puerto Iguazú. Good wi-fi, decent breakfast. The main reason I give the property a 5 star rating is because of the excellent service of Jonathan who worked at reception in the afternoons! He made the trip - gave excellent recommendations for eating out and excellent local craft beers at Humulus - wonderful beer. Jonathan also give the best suggestions on how to spend my time best at the Falls! Thanks and keep up the good work - you are the best asset this Lodge has! You made the trip so memorable, thanks!

    Basic but good value

    rating29 Oct 2019

Group of ten stayed two nights whilst visiting the falls. It's basic/rustic set out in motel style blocks (single level) in a pleasant sub tropical garden but at circa £30 per night including breakfast very good value. Pool was busy in the evenings with kids letting their hair down.Has everything you need. Clean, large room, comfortable beds, Aircon, hot (ish) water. WiFi was decent as well! Little English but we got by.Breakfast was fairly basic bread, ham, cheese, juice, coffee, etc. but lots of fruits so the wife was happy. It's a 5 or so minute walk to a couple of restaurants and slightly further to the main street of iguazu.WRT Iguazu, I'd recommend you do the Argentian side first (allow a full day) then the Brazilian side (only needs half a day). I've written up my recommendations under the iguazu entry. We found a great taxi guy. I've attached a copy of his card (use WhatsApp and Google translate to contact him) and he was reliable , taking us to the park (ARS 2,000), collecting us (main gate had WiFi and so you WhatsApp him) and taking us to the Brazilian side ( ARS 3,000) and back to airport (ARS 1,200). He'll be more expensive than a single taxi as his van can seat up to 11, but we found him reliable and the van was perfect for our group.

    Most accommodating

    rating20 Aug 2019

Wonderful place, great English spoken. Every request is instantly handled, your soul will be edified. Rooms are large, generous and cleaned most delightfully , a/c most affective. Assistance for food delivery to either the dining area or your room can be handled by a most helpful front desk attendant as well as accurate on site taxis to the airport. The woodsy jungle atmosphere is quite and peaceful for all, birds in the morning are most enjoyable. Jonathan, is your man from 2p-10p, can help with whatever you need or want. He is awesome!!!

    Never come! Rude! Nightmare!

    rating05 Aug 2019

I have been to 60 countries and lived in about 150 different hotels. This is the worst one!1 Location: Not in the center, very remote2 Employees: very rude3 Cleanliness: There is cleaning4 Meals: Breakfast is very common5 Value for money: very poorThe Staff can hardly speak EnglishI asked the reception to book the airport bus, they promised me to book the day before. They confirm that there will be a bus at 9 am.The next day,I confirmed again at 8 o'clock , they still said no problem. But there is no bus at 9:30 am!!!I asked the reception and replied to me, "I will book you NOW," then he make a phone call to book.(I give his number,he even donn't know the phone number!!! OMG!!!)Then, I asked him, "SO,you donn't book for me yesterday? I made double check in this morning.Actually you didn't book it for me,right?"The reception staff was silent for 30 seconds, then raged, in front of me, He cancelled the bus immediately! And he roared, "You don't need it ever, you won't go to the airport, hahaha!"This is insane! Then I happened to meet the owner of this hotel. After knowing the cause .The BOSS did not say sorry to me at all. He just made me get used to the Argentine way of doing things and expressed that he could not manage or control his staff !This really carzy!!!Finally, I contacted the bus by myself and catched the plane!
