Location

The hotel is located in the town of Maipu, a 12-minute drive from the capital city of Mendoza and close to many of the area's attractions such as the historical centre, the museum of wine, the hill of La Gloria and Thermal Park of Cacheuta. The hotel is located near the famous wine route and guests can visit the Familia Zuccardi winery, Lopez, and the Finca Filchman Trapiche Tributo, all in the town of Maipu or close by. Guests can also visit well-known olive oil mills which, along with wine, is a typical product of the region and famous worldwide.

Facility

18 junior suites, 4 suites and 96 double rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by 3 lifts. The reception desk is open round the clock. A baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The holiday village has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine. Lectures, presentations and meetings can be held in one of the 3 conference rooms.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a bidet. A hairdryer and a telephone are available for daily use. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The complex has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The pool area, which includes 2 indoor and outdoor pools, is perfect for exercising or just relaxing. Parasols on the terrace are also available. A hot tub can soothe sore muscles (for a fee). For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and horse riding are available. The surroundings of the holiday village offer an ideal environment for skiing. Sport and leisure facilities at the complex include a gym, table tennis and aerobics. The complex offers a range of facilities in the wellness area. Options include a spa and, for an additional fee, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, live music, a dance club, a casino and a nightclub.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a breakfast room and a café. A non-smoking restaurant with air conditioning, high chairs and a separate area for smokers is available to guests. Breakfast and a lunch buffet are served every day. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.

    This IS NOT a 4 star hotel. For me, 0 stars.New Year's Eve and new year's day no food, except for breakfast, for guests, not even bottled water could be purchased. They blamed some stupid government law.Rubbish! All quality hotels have resturants for guests. The adjoining resturants were closed.The "hotel" was notified 3 months in advance that Aerolineas Argentinas, their national carrier, had pushed back our flight by one day. The hotel refused to refund us for that night. We had paid in full. 3 months written notice was given 🤬 . Our booking was made through the South American Tourism Office. Read their Cancellation Policy before you book! 😡. It essentially leaves it's up to the hotel's discretion. Corporate policy should promote exceptional customer service not promote greed. Strangely if you book through Booking.com free cancellation. Figure that one out. ☹No restaurant for dinner, breakfast only, which is ordinary.Poorly stocked poolside bar which they shut at any time that pleases them. Disgusting factory made "toasted" ham and cheese sandwiches were served at the poolside.No 24 hour management to escalate complaints. You had to fit in with the day manager whenever that person decides to show up. They are incompetent and should be  held accountable. On departure they tried to overcharge us. They claimed there were several more drinks in the fridge on our arrival than there actually were.One glass for 2 people in our room. This was pointed out to the front desk. No result. Poorly trained and even lazy staff.No notepad and pen in the room.No in room tea and coffee making facilities.No room service.The key card room lock operation was unreliable and the locks are out of date.No tissues provided in the bathroom. Old Television, local Spanish stations only. No network connectivity. So no Netflix, Youtube or other online services.On the plus side the bed was comfortable, room was clean, reception staff were good but lacked authority and or confidence to make decisions.Will never stay in a Wyndham hotel any where in world again unless we have to 😡😡😡. Take the photos with a grain of salt too. I recommend you stay in downtown Mendoza.     No tea/coffee making facilities in room, or available outside of breakfast times. Room initially had no working aircon, no TV remote, although this was remedied. All TV channels in Spanish, no other languages catered for.

    We stayed 5 nights and must say we are very disappointed with the overall experience.- room not clean on arrival- stray cats roaming the lobby.- very poor wifi, only works well in lobby area.- Found it difficult to communicate with majority of staff . English training required ! - Location not ideal.- Pool area ok !- Room ok need to improve bathroom , ( shower is in bath tub leaking taps etc ) A below average hotel.

    Great cost-benefit. Room was Very clean. Nice staff. Easy to go places and it is inside a complex with lots of structure: restaurants, super market, bank, casino, etc.Downside was the breakfastwhere we had to pay extra for eggs. All the rest was include. That was a first for me.

    Rooms are ok but noisy and toilets are a bit small. Location is closer to the winery’s but 15 min away from the city. Breakfast is no unlimited but served by waiters on demand. Free parking is included.
