  Quaint Hotel Conveniently Located

  Hostal Malvinas is well maintained, despite it's age. Only a handful of rooms on each of the two floors. We had a room overlooking the back garden, not much view like the front of the Beagle Channel.Room is clean, good linen, though mattress could be a bit firmer my preference.Breakfast is a simple continental, toast and croissant, juice, fresh fruits, and coffee/tea. Ignacio was most helpful in checking in, and helped us booked a new year's eve dining at one of Ushuaia better restaurant.

  Cute place, great staff

  Hostel Malvinas was perfect for our trip. Conveniently located, clean rooms, and great breakfast. The staff is amazing and incredibly friendly. We arrived early and they held out bags as well as got us in early. Everyone was so kind, warm and welcoming. They helper with all questions about the city and gave great recommendations.

  A smaller hotel, but conveniently located and helpful staff. Smaller room and bathroom, but I spent little time there so it mattered little. I was able to easily walk everywhere in town I needed to go, and it wasn't too far up the hill. Staff were always helpful, from calling a cab to dinner recommendations to loaning me a plug adapter (Type I - thre prong - I only had C and I don't believe the outlets in the room were dual). Breakfast was simple but good.

  This was a lovely hostel in a top position in Ushuaia, it was only a very short walk to the Main Street. The room was small but extremely clean and very warm. I had a great view across the Beagle Channel from my window. The breakfast choices were fairly limited especially if wanting to avoid carbs or gluten but it was nice enough. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again and I would recommend it.   Delightful small hotel, cordial staff

  Despite its name, this isn't what North Americans consider a hostel. All the rooms are separate, with baths n suite. Our room was spotless. the linens were high quality. The window opened onto a small rose garden. The staff were helpful. Most spoke English but welcomed Spanish -- even our Tex Mex variety. Although it is only two blocks above Ushuaia's main street and three blocks from the port, the neighborhood was quiet. The included breakfast was a rather modest continental version, but plenty to tide us over until a more substantial lunch or brunch at one of the restaurants nearby.
