  Superb staff, and excellent rooms, food and views

  My husband and I stayed at Las Hayas for five nights in late March. Everything about our stay was excellent. This is definitely one of the best hotels we have stayed at. First, the hotel staff was friendly and kind. They always went the extra mile to help us. When we mentioned to a hotel employee that we were having trouble finding an item at the pharmacies in town, the employee, during her off-duty hours, went to a pharmacy and bought the item for us. Special thank yous to Micaela, and also Emilia and Nicolas, who were wonderfully helpful.Our room was excellent as well. The room was large, the mattress was firm, and the bathroom area was spacious, with a whirlpool tub.The restaurant and lounge were great. We enjoyed a fine meal at the restaurant. In the lounge, my husband ordered their pulled pork sandwich, and said it was the best pulled pork sandwich he had had in years.Finally, the views from our room were spectacular. Out of one window, we had an incredible view of Ushuaia and the Beagle Channel. From the other, we had a close-up view of the nearby mountains.I highly recommend Las Hayas to anyone visiting the Ushuaia/Tierra del Fuego area.

  Overall Experience:Our four-night stay at Las Hayas Resort was exceptional. From the seamless check-in to the breathtaking natural surroundings, every aspect of the resort contributed to a memorable visit to Ushuaia. It is an excellent choice for travelers seeking comfort and world-class views.Arrival and Service:The check-in process was remarkably efficient; we were settled in our room within five minutes of arrival, with our luggage delivered promptly by the staff. The team was professional, attentive, and fully bilingual in English and Spanish, making communication effortless throughout our stay.Accommodations and Scenic Views:Our room provided an unobstructed, stunning view of the bay. A highlight was the ability to fully open the windows to appreciate the mountain air and the vibrant sunrises over the Beagle Channel. Nestled on a hill surrounded by trees, the resort offers a front-row seat to the local snow-capped mountains. While we didn't hike to the top of the nearby Martial Glacier, the resort’s location makes it easy to visit the base and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.Dining and Atmosphere:Breakfast: The morning service offered a wide variety of high-quality options, catering well to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences.Lobby and Terrace: The common areas are beautifully designed. The lobby features several comfortable seating areas and an on-site restaurant perfect for drinks or snacks. We particularly enjoyed the terrace, which allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the surrounding landscape and the crisp mountain air.Conclusion:Las Hayas Resort exceeded our expectations. The combination of a dedicated staff, comfortable facilities, and an iconic location made our time in Ushuaia truly special. We will certainly choose this resort again for our next visit to the region.
