    Don’t stay here…… ever

    I wish I could give this place 0 stars. It was horrible - the room we stayed in was disgusting. The curtains were broken and dirty, the sofa bed had lost its shape and was filthy ( we refused to sit on it or use it as a bed). Hair was found on a plate in the kitchenette. Nothing about it was decent. Definitely not 4 star or 3 star. Do not stay here. Horrible horrible horrible. The staff at reception looked like they’d rather not be here.

    Bed bugs - avoid!

    I woke each morning with bites on my face and body which I thought at first were mosquito bites. It wasn't until the third (and final) night I woke with intense itching all over my abdomen that I realised the problem was coming from the bed itself. I reported the bed bugs to reception upon checkout and asked for a refund. They said there was nothing they could do but assured me the manager would call me. He didn't.I chased him up via email and phone several times before receiving an answer. He told me they would have pest control look at the room and he would call me in 24 hours. He didn't. I chased him up again and was told there was no evidence of bed bugs so he would not be providing a refund. I provided the hotel with proof of bed bugs in the form of photos of the multiple bites on my face and body (including around 15 on my abdomen). I also have a doctor's certificate confirming bed bug bites. In contrast, I have not seen any proof that there was a pest control inspection, or what their findings were.The manager offered me a free single night stay as a 'goodwill gesture' which is useless given that I will never again go near the place.The hotel classes itself as four star. Even without the bed bugs, it's three star at best. The curtains did not fully cover the windows, and I had to prop my suitcase and other things against them to hold them shut to maintain privacy and block out the street lights outside. The furnishings were shabby and the service at breakfast was very average. I was told each morning at breakfast that I could only have my coffee in a takeaway cup as they were 'about to get really busy'. I can only assume they meant there was no one in the kitchen to wash up a few cups...I recommend anyone considering staying here to think again. I paid over $800 for three nights and left in extreme discomfort from bed bug bites. I've received no compensation or refund. Since the hotel claims they found no bed bugs in the room, unfortunately it appears that the next person to stay there will suffer a similar experience. Would recommend choosing somewhere else instead.

    A very poor timeshare experience

    Apparently the rooms/units/apartments are all timeshare. The alleged "premium" unit I stayed in was bland and middle-of-road in terms of furnishings and comport. But the bathroom was low standard, a wonky shower fitting above a small plastic bath. Apart from location, i cannot praise the unit I was in. But the photos of other units may be okay.

    I stay at this hotel and while I was away from my room somebody entered and stole a pair of expensive Bose Noise cancelling headphones and cash. It also looks like they went through my drawers looking for other things to steal.

    Very handy for the city, the room we had was a bit tired and was a little dirty in places but overall ok, no view from our room other than of the opposite apartments and Paul’s dairy The staff were very friendly and helpful, the buffet breakfast was good value for money
