  Stayed in a deluxe queen size room. Very comfortable bed. Room and bathroom were clean. Close to a variety of restaurants , take away, supermarkets. 2 minute drive to the beach.Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Plenty of parking - some undercover. Room was quiet.

  Sadly this stay wasn't good at all . I rang to book this in to ask if parking was nearby as im on a walker never got told parking was not allocated , otherwise we wouldn't of booked here . Got told on check in by a lady there would be no car parking in front of our door if we had to go out that night . We had plans to meet a family friend for dinner the lady at desk told us oh well if you leave there's no parking and when we come back of course it was full . We had poor internet at night so i left it till morning to do a medical email to find we had NO internet at all then . Got also woken up by people upstairs and a van door slamming shut several times and loud voices after 1am The man on checkout was rude was not even going to ask how our stay was . He was keen to just get keys i almost walked out but went back in and mentioned the internet he said i should of told him , not sure how when the office was shut then he didn't even care so i just left . Bathrooms are small for the money per night and the room was very small too, our daughters bed was so close to ours .

  I booked what I believed was a 2 bed suite. In reality was a tiny 1 bedroom room with another bed as you opened the door to what should have been the lounge / sitting room. The bathroom was so tiny you could barely turn around in it and the towels were so thin. I was very disappointed especially having spent a premium $320 per night pre Christmas.

  What a lovely surprise. Lovely clean and recently renovated by the looks of it. Fresh and airy. Staff helpful. Really close to everything. Totally recommend.

  Coastal Bliss Location

  We selected Coastal Bay Motel, as it suited our budget for a two-night stay, great location… only a 3-minute drive to Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary; 4-minute drive to The Big Banana Fun Park; and 16-minute drive to Coffs Harbour Butterfly House – places of interest to visit during our stay. Check in was fast, staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. He issued me with a key to open the door to our room and told me that on-site parking are unallocated, choose wherever you want to park, some are undercover parking BUT he also told me that there are not enough onsite parking to accommodate all rooms, but don’t fret, you can park on the street frontage. We had no problems finding parking onsite whenever we returned from our holiday activities and always found an undercover parking spot, near the pool. The presentation of our room was spacious, very clean, had all the necessities you need (body wash / shampoo and conditioner, soap, coffee/tea condiments, air con and the necessary appliances), to make our stay comfortable and our bed and pillows were comfortable – we had a decent and comfortable sleep. You also get free Wi-Fi and a flatscreen TV. We basically had the pool to ourselves – the pool was in pristine condition, with the comforts surrounding the pool – it is also a BBQ area with chairs/deckchairs and tables around it. Check-out was super easy, just drop your keys in their drop box, located outside reception and continue on with your travels. I highly recommend Coastal Bay Motel, great place to rest, nice and quiet, well-located and conveniently close to the city centre and attractions, budget friendly and perfect for travellers or business people who are staying there for a night or two – convenience at your fingertips.
