    Great accommodation in Byron Bay.

    rating27 Mar 2026

Stayed at the Belongil Penthouse Three - Fabulous. There were 4 of us - 2 had own bedrooms & 2 shared. Two bathrooms. The lounge/dining/kitchen area was huge - the couch enormous. Outside was roomy, plenty of seating, loungers and the private pool was great. Only went to the resort pool once. Couple of minutes drive to town or a 1/2 hour walk along the beach. Clean, quiet, comfortable - recommend.

    Perfect Birthday weekend in paradise

    rating31 May 2022

This resort is so spacious, clean and close to Treehouse cafe. So close to the Beach. It has its privacy too. Plenty of private parking for cars, so off the street. The management are so fantastic ! They were very obliging and super friendly. We stayed with a larger group and there is so much room in the units. They have a great entertainment area. I was also surprised how close you are to the main city of Byron. We walked into town, took 15 mins. So no need to order cabs and just out of town enough that it is still relaxingly quiet. We will be back !! Ian Johnston, Owner at East on Byron, responded to this review Hi Cathy, Thank you. This is a great reveiw that captures the feel of East on Byron. Kind regards, Ian

Lovely place to stay in Byron

    rating18 Mar 2022

Overall this was a really good stay and felt different from other trips to Byron. What we liked:- Beach houses were great - spacious and away from the pool area. Also very clean.- beds and bedrooms were a good size. Aircon in all major areas.- kitchen was well appointed (maybe consider adding pod coffee machines, given it can be difficult to score a coffee in the first half of the week?)- pool area was really nice. We spent a few hours lounging here. - location was a big selling point. We did not want to stay in Byron central again. An easy 16-20 min walk in to town and a $10 Uber in either direction. Also being over the road from the beach was fantastic. Also near the Treehouse and a really nice Italian restaurant.- was able,e to receive deliveries from Coles and restaurants. What can improve:- Sliding door on the beach house was a royal pain to shut and lock successfully. Needs to be looked at.- Internet stability. It was bad on Day 1 but then improved. Degraded a bit later on, but we figured out it could be resolved by rebooting the router. Speed was fine when it was working well though. - Maybe consider an additional set of bins for the other side of the complex, was a bit of a walk otherwise.Probably our nicest stay in Byron yet - good digs and good location, enabling us to hang out in the central byron when we wanted a beer at the Northern. Thanks! Ian Johnston, Owner at East on Byron, responded to this review Thank you for the review. Glad you had a great stay. Thank you also for the things to improve. I can say that the rollers in the sliding door have been replace, the Internet cabling has been replaced and now is stable. The garbage area is the designated area for the East on Byron complex, so cant follow through on that suggestion. Thank you again Kind regards, Ian

    Fabulous Girls Getaway

    rating04 Jun 2021

We loved our stay for our girls getaway. Love it's away from the busyness of Byron, yet close enough to easily pop in for dinner or groceries. The location couldn't be better - right across from the beach, a few steps from a great restaurant (Treehouse, highly recommend!), and a short drive to The Farm or The Lighthouse. There were four of us so we loved how well appointed the suite was, everything you'd want in the kitchen, two bathrooms, bbq, big patio and steps from the pool. The only suggestion we have is to have more tea/coffee in the room! We each had a tea and then it was gone! We'll be back.

Great apartment right across the road from the beach. Nice pool to swim in and relax at and the Treehouse on Belongil restaurant a must to visit. The apartment is spacious and modern with a nice balcony for alfresco dining on a balmy night. Would definitely stay again. Town was a 15-20min walk if you dont want to drive,
