Location

The hotel is situated just a 15-minute drive from the Gold Coast International Airport in Coolangatta, 30 minutes from Byron Bay and 90 minutes from Brisbane. The hotel is located right on the beach.

The resort has 317 rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by 3 lifts. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Rooms

    "We recently enjoyed a wonderful six-night stay at Mantra on Salt Beach. The resort is beautifully designed with an open, spacious feel, and the gardens and pool area are impeccably maintained. The location is unbeatable, offering direct access to a stunning beach and scenic shoreline walking tracks. It’s also just a pleasant 20-minute stroll into Kingscliff. A huge thank you to all the friendly staff, with a special shout-out to Pauline and Noah on reception. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Plus, having a fantastic French Patisserie and various eateries right on the doorstep was a real treat. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!"

    Their Tech Needs Overhaul.

    I made a booking on the hotel website but had to reschedule because of illness. Contacted hotel who said that i booked on expedia (not true) and that i needed to contact expedia to change the booking. After much hunting I found that the booking was on a different website, and all it allowed me to do was cancel, which i did, with zero refund. Would the hotel rebook, no flippen way. Complete waste of $680. Scammers.

    Overall a great weekend away but rooms were a little tired and overdue for refurbishment. Great location and pool, generally staff very helpful. Fabulous choice of eateries adjoining the resort.

    Definitely needs some work on the rooms but the staff are lovely and helpful. Our TV didnt work and maintenance came and fixed it. The corner of the room had a soaking wet carpet and musty smell- door leak or similar - and it was also attended to. They did offer to move us to another room but it wasnt needed. We had a great time as always

    Do NOT !!! Except room 1201 !!!

    Room 1201 which is adjacent the entire motel and cafes garage and recycling complex, from 7am to midnight you hear hydraulic garbage compactor smashing a bottles in the recycling area means that you cannot use the balcony. This unit is not fit for purpose and should be converted into some sort of storage facility.
