English-speaking staff are happy to assist and advise. To ensure guests a comfortable and relaxing stay, the hotel provides various services and facilities, including a library, a laundry service, a fax machine and a coin-operated laundry. Amenities include a drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Rooms

    Loved this place - green haven by the sea

    This hotel was great - fantastic location right opposite the Town Beach (watch out for those submerged rocks) . Despite the coastal setting this is an extremely green area with wonderful tall trees opposite the hotel. We had an apartment which contained a well stocked kitchenette so we could enjoy some good old fashioned home cooking. Always a bonus with me is a balcony and whilst we did not have a sea view the view was more than sufficient for our needs. Also washing machine and dryer which on a six week romp through the Far East and Down Under was a huge bonus. It also provided free parking although we were able to park right outside the hotel (not a parking meter in site - don't you just love Australia). Wife also wants me to shout out for the warm indoor pool. Such a shame we were only there for two nights as we had underestimated the journey from Port Macqarie to Sydney. A highly recommended hotel.     The hotel listing on booking.com and other sites lists this accommodation as having a restaurant and cafe which it does not!There is an Italian restaurantand cafe outside/next to it but it is not part of the hotel and had limited opening times.There is also no bar as listed in another site.When we asked about this at the reception desk they were clearly well versed seeming to have been asked this many times. The staff were not as all welcoming and just pointed to a leaflet on the desk listing some other places nearby but not really interested at all.The room was very small and noisy sharing the entrance with another room. The balcony was so basic and other guests were smoking so we could not use it. I suggest installing smoke detectors above the balcony door.There was a tea towel but not cloth or dishwashing liquid so what was the point of supplying a tea towel. We were really disappointed since we’ve stayed at other Mantra hotels previously but this one was awful!A motel would’ve had the same if not better facilities but at probably a third of the price. I think most reviews are for apartments and not room only like we had, however you pay a lot more for that and still get no restaurant or bar as listed.     Great location in Port Macquarie

    Staff at reception were very helpful and explained how to access the parking and room access.Our modern apartment was two bedroomsand on a higher floor . The ocean view from the apartment was amazing.We like to walk and the location was perfect for us.We did however note the second bathroom and bathroom location to be a little odd.     Waterview apartment excellent

    We had a one bedroom apartment on rhe 4th floor, which gave us a great ocean vuew and high enough to not hear much traffic.Bed comfy, kitchen well equipped, shower good and balcony spacious. Walk across the road to Town Beach. Free undercover parking. 10 min walk into town, however some hills and busy roads to cross. Parking is a bit tricky in town for restuarants. Cafe downstairs for breakky n lunch. Indoor pool.good. Shared washing machine and dryer between 2 rooms.     Great apartments. We stayed in a 2 bedrooms one and it was plenty of rooms. Nice view to the hills and the ocean.
