    Stayed in a powered campsite (with a campervan). Caravans with families on both sides and all around, lots of kidlets on bikes and scooters so quite a holiday atmosphere. Campsite was generous and private, camp kitchen and toilet/shower/laundry were neat and functional, grounds were tidy and staff friendly. Great access to beaches, and a few activities also available on-site. Most NRMA sites are high-quality — Merimbula is no different. We also found the phone booking to be really helpful and quick 👏👏👏 park manager, General Manager at NRMA Merimbula Beach Holiday Resort, responded to this review Thanks so much guys!     Whale heaven here on earth

    Had the privilege of staying at "The Point" villa on the clifftop above Short Point to watch and photograph migrating whales on their way south to Antartica ......we literally saw hundreds each day and some as close as 10-20 metres from shore....from the deck, we could sit, watch and enjoy these beautiful creatures pass by ......added to that, wood fire, large decking area and a short walk to the beach / rocks are made it an experience that was so good, we've already rebooked for 2026, and extended our stay...staff were excellent, amenities also and to be so close to the sea was specular....highly recommend the park to anyone but especially any whale enthusiasts........

    VERY disappointing- would hate to see this in a busy time

    Very disappointing cabin. The fridge light is completely broken triggering the senses. The mould around the sink is breeding an entire new species and the broken door stop in the bathroom met our toes causing a nice claret stream. Then at 2130 hrs we thought it would be sensible to have a shower- all to the amusement of the cabin- because there is no hot water. Not sure why we paid for a unit when sleeping in the work truck would have been more comfortable. Duty manager offered us to go to the office to collect new keys or walk 50 meters in the middle of winter with wet hair ( tried having a shower and got wet before it warmed up) to the outside amenity’s block. Oh and the toilet blocks up with anything more than a pee…….Do better NRMA……Nice use of $160 for a uncomfie bed and cold unit!

    Stayed in a very nice standard cabin large fridge/ freezer,cooktop and microwave oven. Friendly staff. Short walk to the beach and a 5 minute drive to shopping and eateries. Very quiet at this time of year but would be busy during school holidays.

    Fabulous location, superb park and Jasamine was outstanding in her help and friendliness. It was a really good experience all round, we had a minor medical hiccup and the staff helped in all manner of ways. I would recommend this park unreservedly
