    A comfortable stay with a fantastic layout for larger groups This stay was comfortable, and the rooms offered a really strategic setup for bigger families or groups. With a split‑level layout, you arrive into a private foyer — the perfect space to leave beach gear, shoes, and all the bits and pieces before entering the main areas.Two rooms provided two separate sleeping arrangements, which is ideal when travelling with multiple people with 2x bathrooms and toilet.🛏️ Upper LevelOne bedroom offering 1x King or 2x Singles (you can request singles before arrival).A combined shower and toilet.A mini kitchen with microwave, fridge, complimentary hot beverages, and milk.Great for anyone wanting privacy or a quieter sleeping space.🍽️ Lower Level (accessed by internal staircase ONLY)A larger living area with combined living + dining.A full kitchen with all inclusions — perfect for a home‑away‑from‑home stay.A huge back bedroom with a Queen bed, but honestly, this room is massive. You could easily fit 2x Queens in here. If you need extra bedding, be sure to ask (there is a charge, but the space absolutely allows for it).The lounge also folds out into a bed.All up, this two‑level setup could comfortably host a family of six, with room to move and everyone having their own space.🌿 Location & FacilitiesThe location is close to the main boardwalk of Nelson Bay, making it easy to explore.There are no meal options onsite, so plan to dine out or use the full kitchen.Parking is included and accessed via a swipe‑entry gated carpark under the hotel.You can walk to the main street, but it is very hilly, so keep mobility needs in mind.There is a small pool onsite for a quick dip.Fresh air is easily accessible via the balcony, which is a lovely touch.✔️ OverallOur stay here was comfortable and would suit a larger family perfectly. The space, the layout, and the flexibility make it great value at this price point.     lovely clean spacious room for a last minute getaway. Quick walk to everything and very quiet and private. Easy to park a 4wd. Nice and clean. Amazing service!

    We just returned from a very relaxing quick getaway at Oaks Nelson Bay Lure Suites, and it was exactly what we needed.While you can tell the property is showing its age in some spots, any minor wear and tear is completely overshadowed by the incredible service. The reception team, specifically Matt, was absolutely amazing throughout our entire stay—nothing was too much trouble, and his hospitality really set the tone for a stress-free trip.The location is unbeatable. Being so close to everything made it easy to wander down to the marina and shops, making us feel like locals rather than tourists. It’s the perfect spot if you want to park the car and just enjoy the vibe of Nelson Bay on foot.If you’re looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and well-located spot for a break, I’d highly recommend it.     Me and my family came and stayed in the two bedroom two story apartment which was really nice and comfy. (Bigger lounges are needed though to fit everyone staying.The customer service was Phenomenal. A big shout out to Matt at reception for going above and beyond for us. Oaks is lucky to have you, because of you we will definitely be back one day. I highly recommend to stay here.
