    Memorable Weekend

    rating19 May 2026

We stayed here for three nights with a group of friends to celebrate some milestone birthdays. It is in a beautiful setting especially in autumn with all the colours. The check in for 9 was seamless and the rooms are large clean and have access to a large verandah overlooking the grounds. The staff are excellent, from the front desk to the breakfast and cleaning team all friendly and very efficient. A call out for service over and above normal goes to Vee and Emma and the staff in the restaurant. They made the celebrations for our friends a memorable experience, Thank you. Wewill be back!

A good place to spend a few days.

Excellent hotel resort with very good amenities. Only drawback is that despite it being a resort there are NO evening meals on Sunday nights.

    Weekend getaway

We had a fantastic stay. The location was ideal — we could easily ride our bikes to several wineries, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The glamping tents were excellent, comfortable, and well set up. We stayed in May and really appreciated having the air conditioning to keep the tent warm when the evenings got chilly. We travelled with two other couples, and it was the perfect setup for a group getaway. Relaxing, convenient, and a great base for exploring the wineries. Would definitely stay again.

What minibar and the housekeeping service is up to the guest to ask - cost cutting at its finest!

    rating09 Apr 2026

So many inconsistencies with this place. We stayed in a superior room. First, they advertise a minibar on their website - not so. It is a bar fridge. Come back from a delightful day of exploring the wonderful region to find that our room is how we left it. No serviced room. When we left in the morning, the housekeeper was working on the room next door, so we assumed it would be done? As I was walking to reception to clarify this, I asked another guest there who said that there is a card in the room which states you HAVE to ask/request your room to be made up? What card? I asked the lady at reception and she confirmed that there is a card in your room and you HAVE to request that your room be made up. However, there was no card in our room. I also noted that she pointed to said card sitting on the other side of the reception desk - not where I was when I checked in the previous day and not pointed out to me upon check-in. She told me that since Covid, people don't want their room serviced and basically it is up to the person to confirm. Ummm...there is this little thing that you hang on the door that allows a person to let housekeeping know whether you want them to make up the room. It's been around for a very long time. Let's be honest...this is cost cutting measures and a bit deceptive and mean to put this onto the guest. This place states it is 4 star but I would give it 3 stars only. The room has been renovated and is nice. The aircon is old and extremely loud. The restaurant and bar we didn't bother to venture into as it didn't look appealing at all. Overall, it feels a little bit misleading to advertise a minibar and housekeeping which doesn't exist. In the scheme of what's going on in the world at the moment, still feel blessed we could get away - but just want others to be aware!

    Disappointing

    rating05 Apr 2026

I do not usually complain but there is a need. We booked two superiors and one family suite for the groom and groomsmen at our wedding. The week leading up to it we received three confirmation emails to confirm our booking. However when we arrived. In short there was no record of our booking. Nothing. Not the best situation for our wedding. Eventually we were offered three superior rooms. Only two next to each other and another one far away. We were offered only the lowest base rate for the rooms and we asked if breakfast could be included which it was. We were lucky we stayed as a couple one night prior to this and confirmed it the night before because I feel if we went to check in on the day it would have been a completely different story. We had to use the sofa beds which had springs sticking out and the bed not even flat. It was a shame as this was for our wedding and we wanted the family suite for the groomsmen to get ready. It was a shame as we have stayed here previously with no issue. What makes it more annoying is we booked face to face last year with the venue and not through a third party which you would think would be smarter. But apparently not.
