    Check - In - Was quick. Took less than 5 minutesWas the apartment clean - Yes, it was spotlessWere the beds were comfortable ? We had a king bed and it was very comfortableShower - The shower was easy to operate, and pressure was good. Plenty of hot water. Was the environment quiet – The hotel is on the Richmond River. A few trawlers went past, but the noise was minimal. Location – The Ramada Hotel & Suites is on the Richmond River, on the northern end of the CBD. It has a lot restaurants within a 5 minute walk. There is a Woolworths store a few hundred meteres away. The hotel is in a superb location.The staff - Friendly and helpful.The Wi-Fi was included and speed was fast.General information - The Ramada Hotel & Suites is a 6 level hotel. We stayed in a "River King" suite. It had a kitchenette, and a balcony that overlooked the river.Would I stay there again - ABSOLUTELY. The Ramada Hotel & Suites is in a great location and to restaurants. It is very peaceful

    The location is great with walking distance to many restaurants and town Center. Rooms are good but outside walking to and from wasn’t very clean

    First time staying at this heavenly accomodation and it definitely won’t be my last. Staggering into the room after a very long drive, I was overwhelmed with relief at my beautifully presented my room. Special commendation to the housekeeping team who clearly do an exceptional job. The river views are second to none and the downstairs restaurant ‘Saltbush’ is handy for a quick bite, although there are many other choices within easy walk or drive.

    Lovely getaway for the Australia Day weekend. This was our third stay at the Ramada Ballina. I made sure to make a reservation at Saltbush restaurant for the evening of our arrival because it is usually booked out. I was not disappointed by our stay and the food was excellent. We got to stay on the top floor and enjoyed seeing both the river and town. The staff at reception were friendly and welcoming.

    The staff was very helpful. And the location at the river is a plus.Some negative experiences are as follows: 1. I couldn't find the desired date on the Wyndham website and ended up booking with Booking.com, and therefore lost Wyndham member points. Despite the mention, the staff was givenven no tools to check and rectify.2. There was black mould in the shower.3. Even though I had stayed for 4 nights, and my room was not booked on the day Upon checkout, my request for late checkout at 13:30 was declined due to the hotel's policy, and I was asked to pay if I needed to stay that long.4. Although independently operated, the hotel's attached restaurant has lost its service standard since I was last there. The food quality on New Year's Eve was low, and for that, they charged a high price.
