  We stayed here for two nights and it is a very well runned establishment and everything is in good shape so we really recommend it. If you are on the second floor and in the right direction you will also have a lovely view

  INSIST on ocean front. Internal rooms not great

  Motel style rooms depressing. Room over looked internal architecture, not exactly a botanical garden. Units are strata title with joint entrance to room with another room. Very very noisy with people slamming doors and zero sound proofing. wifi lousy cockroaches found The Cove Yamba, Owner at The Cove Yamba, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate you highlighting this, and we always encourage guests to book an oceanfront option if view and location are a priority.I’m also sorry to hear about the noise disturbances and the issues you experienced with Wi-Fi and cleanliness. This is certainly not the standard we aim to provide. I have passed this feedback on to our housekeeping and maintenance teams so we can investigate the cockroach sighting and review the sound insulation and Wi-Fi performance in that area of the building.If you are open to it, we would appreciate the opportunity to make this right for you.   Outdated decor , fabulous location .

  What a shame this amazing location doesn’t meet expectations because of very outdated furnishings , faded prints , uncomfortable furniture from the 80’s . Kitchen supplies , glassware etc the cheapest quality they could possible find , cannot comprehend why you would not update so the customer would keep coming back. Vertical blinds as window coverings is just embarrassing. Shower head and tap wear not updated since construction - when you are on holidays you expect more. Disappointing , missed the mark , it’s beachside, consider that in your furnishings.   Excellent location, a great stay, lovely staff, walking distance to beach, hotel & restaurants

  Easy short walk to Yamba beach. We stayed in a studio room , great for 2 nights. Any longer we would book an apartment with separate bedroom with ocean view .The complex is clean and a lovely pool area. Staff are very friendly. Its also Walking distance to the Pacific hotel and a few restaurants. (we ate. at both the Mexican & Pacific hotel , food was excellent , friendly service at both places).   Wonderful accommodation and friendly staff

  We had a great 4 night stay in a one bedroom garden view apartment, couldn't fault it at all. We had a very friendly welcome from the property manager even though we arrived out of hours and her texts with instructions hadn't reached our UK phone. The couple of minor issues we had in the apartment were quickly resolved, we got the impression that nothing was too much trouble.The apartment was clean and well equipped, including a couple of doses of washing powder and dishwasher pods - invaluable when you are travelling and not wanting to buy a big box!The pool and pool area were immaculate, as were the grounds.The Cove is at the top of the town of Yamba so there are steep hills to climb to get home if you eat out - not a problem at all for us but for the consideration of less mobile visitors. Saying that, there is ample free parking in Yamba so it would be easy to drive. Several beautiful beaches within easy walking distance. We'll definitely stay again if we're lucky enough to be in the area again in the future and will be recommending The Cove to family and friends.
