  Beautiful bungalow shared with the tiger Ravi

  We stayed in the tiger bungalow for a night as a family of 4 and it did not disappoint. The room was beautifully furnished, clean, with a huge bathtub and king sized bed (and a sofa bed for the kids - very thin mattress). After having a look at the room we visited the gift shop and on our return the tiger named Ravi had made himself comfortable in his bed of hay right next to the glass. The kids loved being just a pane of glass away from such a beauty of a animal. Ravi was not phased by our presence at all and appeared to be very comfortable by the glass. The tiger was quiet for most of the night except for for 3am where he had a bit to say. Very cool experience.Dinner included a visit from a white who stayed around for about 10 minutes and the hyenes stayed for most of the dinner. After the kids ate their meals they were taken for a tour of the aquarium so the adults could have their main meals without interruption. We paid approx $4.4k for a family of four. Whilst it was an incredible experience that we wont forget, I do believe it was a little overpriced.Overall if its within your budget, I would absolutely recommend.We requested the tiger bungalow as our children are 6 & 8 and there was age restrictions for some of the animals. If this wasn't the case we would of booked the lion bungalow as there was a family of lions for this bungalow including playful cubs.

  Majestic beauty of Giraffes at Jamala.

  We spent an unforgettable night at the Giraffe Treehouse at Jamala Wildlife Lodge in April.As soon as you arrive, it feels like you have landed in Africa.The decor, atmosphere, attention to detail, knowledge and friendliness of staff and let's not forget the beautiful animals make this experience a once in a lifetime opportunity. I would absolutely recommend staying in the giraffe treehouse, we were in No 5 and had uninterrupted views of the 2 giraffes at all times.Getting to see, smell feed and marvel in the size of these majestic creatures was such a special experience. Dinner was superb and zoo tour was thoroughly enjoyable .Would love to go again

  Absolute Perfection, ultimate in luxury, amazing platinum service, stunning staff, phenomenal experiences and the highest standards on Earth. In fact, the standard was so high the crew of Artemis II couldn’t even reach it!My wife and I stayed in the Giraffe Treehouse for her 60th Birthday. The animals are great BUT the true highlight were the staff and volunteers! We thought we were in heaven and the staff were angels! They are truly exceptional human beings in every possible way. They are incredibly passionate, very kind, amazingly thoughtful, have positive attitudes, show strong work ethic and are obviously very highly trained. They provide phenomenal service not because it’s their job, but because of who they are. Their service was highly personalised with incredible attention to every tiny detail. Whomever employs them are geniuses at understanding the essence of employing exceptional people and then training them to reach their full potential. The staff also provided an amazing shuttle service and they ensured there was virtually zero wait time when it was needed. They also organised a very useful mobility scooter that enabled me to go on tours with my wife. When I thanked one of the staff, he said “We simply want to ensure you have the best possible luxury experience.” That sums up the ENTIRE experience. The room was stunning in every possible way. It was African themed, comfortable, gorgeous, modern and luxurious. The four poster bed was incredible! Unexpected room extras included a nightly printed bedtime story with Lindt chocolates, full daily room service, tasty biscuits and Foxtel. The food, especially dinner, is Michelin Star standard! It’s not a meal, but an event! All meals and drinks were included. There are many culinary choices, cooked to perfection and stunningly presented by a genius, gifted chef who could easily have a world famous restaurant in the heart of Paris!Oh yes, the animals! They were wonderful! Jamala provides the full range of experiences with many options for private encounters. My wife experienced the Meerkat encounter and the Cheetah encounter. She patted a Cheetah (and lived)! To the owners: We salute you, as all of the above happens because of your vision, dedication, hard work, commitment, sacrifices and passion. You are legendary!Overall, perfection, heaven, luxury, stunning, phenomenal. You MUST go. You MUST experience the incredible, angelic staff (and maybe see the animals if you like as well).My wife and I will be forever grateful for the exceptional staff and epic experiences provided. My wife was beaming and couldn’t stop telling family and friends that it massively exceeded her expectations (which were already high).Thank you ALL so much!

  What an amazingly wonderful place to stay! The accommodation was exceptional and a great place to take three generations of our family - the grandchildren didn't want to leave - they loved all the animals. The staff were all so friendly and knowledgeable, the entire site was spotlessly clean and overall it was just a fabulous environment. The grandchildren loved swimming in the pool too!
