    Unit 04. PLUS: cheap. Clean. Quiet.M/wave. Elec jug. Toaster. Crockery. Cutlery.TV. A/CMinus: no bedside clock/radio. Mattresses either old or VERY soft. Small towels. Bedroom light pn wall BRIGHT next to tv ? & "in ya face". Fridge needed defrosting BADLY.

    Stale Smoke spoils the Stay

    The smell of previous smokers is so noticeable nowadays. The room initially had a "cleaning" smell but that soon became obvious as smoke in the curtains, pillows, blankets and room generally. The room was dirty and tired.The only redeeming feature was the offer that included a complimentary dinner dish from the attached restaurant. The location was handy to walk to a local shopping precinct.

    Room had stained carpet and room had bad odour. We checked in and left within 5 mins. Reception was messy and not welcoming when checked in. When I went back 5 mins later the reception was closed so could not discuss with any staff. Sign said reception open until 6pm and this was well before. Was a waste of money. Only booked for a cheap night sleep when travelling and wasn’t expecting much for the price but could not bring myself to stay in this place.

    Central location walk to shops and restaurants, the room is basic but it is clean. Good aircon and on-site parking. There is a lot of permanents living there so can be quite noisy. We didn’t like people smoking right out front of doors there should be a designated smoking area as there was a lot of cigarette butts laying around. The management was polite on checking in and during our stay. It is okay for a one or two night stay but probably not for a holiday.

    I booked this motel as I thought it was pet friendly and comments online said it was a $10 pet fee.On arrival the owners mother said it wasn’t pet friendly so I said no problem we will go elsewhere which she said that’s ok cause you’re card hasn’t been charged. As I left they apologised and nothing was mentioned about charging me.After I left the owner took it upon herself to charge my card anyway and after I spoke to her today says bad luck she won’t be refunding me.It’s FRAUD charging for services not provided and I will be taking this further.
