    Beautiful building Excellent stay

    We loved this Heritage building. Why stay in characterless motel room when you can enjoy high ceilings beautiful architecture and plush carpeted hallways of a bygone era for a few $$ more?Our room was spacious and elegant with a beautiful tiled ensuite.The restaurant was excellent. Wait staff friendly and attentive. Fernando himself personally greeted us.Our meals steak and lamb rump were perfect. I complimented the young lady on the ginAnd tonic!! Often bar staff use an opened litre bottle and the tonic is flat!We will be back next trip through to Brisbane.

    Brilliantly converted and restored heritage listed TAFE college into a hotel. Very comfortable modern suite. Excellent value for money compared to the crappy motels when on the road. Service and reception very friendly and helpful. Self serve breakfast was good with an excellent cappuccino you rarely find.

    Lovely hospitality both at the counter and in the restaurant. Beautifully clean, quiet and comfortable room. Restaurant was lovely. Lamb fell off the bone and the mash was totally delicious. Breakfast was just as good. Downside: wish we could have stayed longer. The owner has done a beautiful job of this place. Very classy. The renovations are tasteful, very original and honest to its original bones.Recommended.

    What a nightmare !!! The man at the Check in is so odious! You arrive at 8pm, your booking deal specified: no payment in advanced, and they don’t care ! They charged you days before. I asked why, he just answered : feel free to leave ! Funny fact when i asked his name: he said « i am the owner of the hotel » but he is actually just the managing director haha! Also the room is disgusting, there are socks in the hall, suspicious stains everywhere, and the building is so noisy ! You hear every car. Good luck to sleep. I asked other guests about the desk and They were all bothered by him. Don’t go there
