  I always stay at the quest in Dubbo. Locationwise for me it is perfect. the facilites are clean and more than ample. The staff are always welcoming and the check in/out servie is super easy and efficient.   Was ok for 2 days but the property needs upgrading. Only breakfast option was a pack of overpriced cereal. Dont bother, head across the road to coffee shop Press.   ATM forget it, go elsewhere till it is renovated and they have replaced ALL of the beds!

  It states 4.5 stars on Wotif.com (Expedia).... well that might have been the case when it was new, over 13 years ago, but now with obvious years of poor or no maintenance it would be a 3 at best. Photos all look fabulous on line - and so they should when it was new. Check in was easy - staff were friendly and helpful, then the problems start when using the only lift. The lift makes a noisy clicking sound as it moves up or down (so glad we had a room away from it). The door to the 3-bed apartment is great - no issues at all with that. Back to the on-line description whereby it states - . 3 bedrooms . Airconditioning - so we wrongly assumed that all of the bedrooms were air-conditioned. There is an aircon in the family room and another in the main bedroom (which was noisy). The other 2 bedrooms are provided with a pedestal fan that when plugged in is very close to the bed, so your children can trip over it during the night.The beds are WORN OUT! - ALL of them! (especially in the main bedroom) and I'd say have been worn out for years! Yet Wotif states "comfortable beds".Wotif also states reception is 24/7 but there's no one there from 11pm to 7am.The exhaust fans in the bathrooms and aircons need cleaning. The TV remotes... one wasn't working and one was struggling. Asking for new batteries took some time and it seemed like I was asking for a bar of gold. The TV's are difficult to use, albeit we were able to use Netflix with the last person's account.The lounge furniture is also worn out, and very soiled. The kitchen tap is loose. The bath/shower is dangerous as it is quite a step down to get out - and there is hardly any water pressure in that one. The toilet can't do a half flush and the toilet roll holder is on the left and too close to your left leg - there is ample room to the right for relocating.The property manager often parks her car in the bays that are dedicated for the disabled yet she is quite young and seems capable of using the regular car bays. I challenged her about it and she seemed quite arrogant. Most of the time her car is parked in the charging bays because it's electric, so perhaps she should leave it there and not in the disabled bays that are supposed to be used by people that have an ACROD permit?For a few positives, Leonnie, Heidi and Bec are amazing and friendly staff members - nothing was too much trouble for them.I have also heard that new owners are due in May - so I'm sure most of the issues above will be addressed in due course?   We stayed three nights and the location of the apartments is excellent. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Dubbo.   My stay at Quest Dubbo was very pleasant and left a lasting positive impression. The property is well maintained, professionally managed, and reflects a high standard of organisation and hospitality.The reception staff were courteous, attentive, and genuinely helpful. On the evening of our arrival, a member of the reception team went well beyond his formal duties by assisting us with our luggage, thoughtfully organising it into our vehicle, and proactively helping us locate dining options open at a late hour. His enthusiasm and willingness to help were commendable. The reception lady was equally welcoming and personally guided us to our room, which added a reassuring and considerate touch after a long journey.The accommodation itself was comfortable, clean, and well presented, making it suitable for both short and extended stays. There was a small initial confusion regarding access to streaming services such as Netflix and Prime Video, as the applications were visible but not active. This took a little time to clarify, though it did not detract from the overall quality of the stay.In summary, Quest Dubbo offers excellent service, warm hospitality, and a well-organised environment. It is a reliable and comfortable place to stay, supported by staff who demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and genuine care for guests. I would be very happy to stay here again and to recommend it to others.
