    Good accommodation for affordable price. Very clean. Very comfortable bed. Quality sheets and towels. No traffic noise. Good shower pressure. We had room 7. The heater was a tad noisy maybe needing a service but it didn’t keep me awake.

    The room was clean and roomy and the bed was very comfy. Its in a quiet location but still not far out of town. The management team are very friendly and polite. We have now stayed there twice and will stay there again when in Bairnsdale. Its hard to find a fault with it.

    One night booking over Easter cancelled by Motel

    We needed a place to overnight en route to Jindabyne over Easter. 6 weeks prior to Easter, I booked a night at this motel. The night happened to be on Good Friday. Now, 2 weeks later, I have received a phone call saying the booking needs to be cancelled. Whilst a reason was provided over the phone, I could not really understand why. And when I received written confirmation of the booking cancellation, there was no apology and the cancellation request looks like it came from me. Perhaps the cancellation is because we only booked one night passing through, rather than for the whole of Easter. In any case, I won't be booking the Bairnsdale Motel if I need to stop in Bairnsdale in the future, as I would not trust that my booking would be honoured, if it didn't suit the needs of the motel proprietors.

    Well renovated and spacious comfortable motel. Road it is situated on does not carry a lot of traffic, plus facility is set back a bit from it, and our sleep was not disturbed. Room clean, bed good quality, amenities OK. Wifi worked. Good Tv channel selection, Off street parking at door.

    Pure luxury after a long road trip! Room was immaculately presented and the in room spa bath soothed sore muscles. Staff were both friendly and helpful. Short drive to restaurants and a lovely morning walk along the bush track besides the river. Cooking facilities in apartment kitchen were excellent!
