Location

The resort is located just steps from the beach and only two blocks from the heart of Surfers Paradise.

Facility

English-speaking staff are happy to assist and advise. A baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, a transfer service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, central heating and a fan. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a queen-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. Heated indoor and outdoor pools, filled with salt water, ensure comfortable swimming. There is a children's swimming area as well. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. There are many ways to relax or stay active in the complex, including golf, a spa, a sauna and a steam bath.

    Location & views spectacular but needs cleaning

    This is located very close to the beach and shops, plenty of food available. 5 stars for location. Although we only booked a standard apartment, we had amazing sea views. The best sea views in a long time. What made me think twice about coming back was the hygiene, or rather, the lack of it. As noted by other reviewers, the place needed a good deep clean. There were lots of dirt stains, grease etc left begind from previous occupants. I took some wet tissues and wiped off a fair bit which came off quite easily. It's clear that whoever was responsible for cleanliness just didn't try. The carpet was grotty too. For the price we paid, I wasn't expecting anything fancy but cleanliness is high priority for me personally. I gladly stay at monasteries in Europe which have just the basics but are clean. Just wish this apartment wasn't so grotty, as it was otherwise a wonderful place. Having to wipe off what looked like previous occupants' blood just didn't make a pleasant stay.

    Still good but needs work

    I have stayed four times at Surf Regency on different levels and either 1 or 2 bedrooms. This time round it is noticeable the need to spend money to keep rooms and amenities up to date. Both spas were not working and the place is looking tired. It use to be a budget friendly alternative to staying close to Cavill Ave but its is only a few dollars a night cheaper now.

    We stayed in the superior room on level 13 and it was beautiful! Great views, clean and modern unit. Big balcony x 2. Big rooms. Reception staff were lovely. The pool and spa were also great! Close to Surfers Paradise and the beach. Wonderful holiday was had!

    We did a short 2 night stay with our 13 month old in a superior one bedroom apartment on the 12th floor. Check in was super easy and quick. Free parking was included in a secure underground car park. This is an old building however we were satisfied with our room being reasonably updated and modern in most respects however overall it still had that older building feeling. A trade off for the older building was we had a great ocean view and were in a great location close to the centre of surfers paradise. The room had everything we needed including full kitchen and washing machine/ dryer. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean overall however only a minor issue with the vent in the shower (which is at eye level) was dirty. Whilst on the subject of the shower it was tiny and definitely not luxury if that is your thing……but it did the job. The rest of the bathroom was modern and clean. We needed assistance on two occasions from staff during our stay and on both occasions the two different staff members were only too willing to help and had great customer service skills. Would I stay again? Whilst no major issues at all, I would probably pay a few dollars extra and stay somewhere a bit more modern next time.

    Stunning view and amazing apartment

    I booked a one bedroom apartment and was very impressed by the property. They were very efficient in responding to my communication. We received a complimentary upgrade to an ocean view apartment 1303 which was amazing and greatly appreciated. Staff all friendly and great customer service. Beautiful pool but we didn’t use it. Would definitely stay again!
