Location

The hotel is located in an unsurpassable seafront setting on the foreshore of Kingscote.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 11 apartments and 62 double rooms located in a 2-storey main building and a 3-storey auxiliary building. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Other services include medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a TV, a radio, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and include a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The pleasantly heated water of the indoor and outdoor pools guarantees comfortable swimming. The sun loungers are perfect for soaking up some sun. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including fishing, a gym, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. A continental breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    Very comfortable room with easy check in. Woke up thinking I was in my own bedroom. Central location but quiet. No usb charge ports, PowerPoints only.

    When we checked in to stay for one night. I asked whether the room allocated had a walk-in shower. The Receptionist was Aaron and he advised it had a shower over a bath. Aaron could see I had a significant disability and, despite our Travel Agent not advising the Hotel of my needs, he changed our room to accommodate my above-knee amputation. It is recommended that Aaron be recognised for his exemplary customer service by a senior manager at an appropriate corporate occasion!

    Upon arrival at check-in met by a young girl who we couldn’t understand or hear what she was saying I had to point out the name on the list for her once seated once again a very very young waitress came and took our order had to flag someone down to get a drink order no side plates supplied or water glasses once food was delivered never saw anyone again, ordered barramundi and once we received it, it was full of bones wasn’t enjoyable we ordered a Lecure and we would charge an extra dollar 50 for milk in the Lecure then upon our departure to pay the bill. There was an added extra 15% surcharge on. I wouldn’t mind paying that extra 15% if the food was worth it and the service was there very disappointing.     Nice apartment and decent food

    We stayed a couple of nights in a small apartment across the street from the historic building. It worked out great since we could make our own breakfast, and also eat at the restaurant for dinner. Food was simple, but good, especially if you pick the fish.     We booked a table online for a birthday celebration and only 2 time slot’s available, 5:30 and 8:00 pm. We were provided with 2 different daily specials and when we queried it they removed one. We placed our orders, only to discover the specials should have been the other one. So when we checked our order, after a 30 minute wait, they had missed 2 main meals. Our bottle of bubbles was delivered with red wine glasses, cork removed but not poured. Meals came eventually and were only OK, except the Poke bowl which was really nice.
