Location

Ideally located in the central business district of Wangaratta, near many of the area's top tourist attractions, the city hotel is only 45 minutes' drive from Albury, while Bright is about 60 minutes away. The bus and train station are located within 1 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 76 rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities.     A great surprise in Wangaratta

    We had to attend a birthday party at the Gateway so we decided to stay overnight. The rooms were clean and spacious, Julie ensured that we had everything we needed. The reception and wait staff were all first class. In fact, we have been to over 140 countries and all the Gateway team were second to none. We highly recommend this place to stay.

    We have stayed here on several occasions over many years and can vouch for the quality of service and presentation. Everything works as it should - airconditioning, clocks, TV, booking, parking…. It should be a given, but many other motels fail on the basics! Thank you to the staff for your commitment to quality service and friendliness, from the excellent restaurant meals to the cleaning of our car windscreen. Well done!     Great experience. Clean rooms, well equipped, and well maintained.I attended a corporate event in the hotel which was also well serviced and organised.The hotel has electric bikes for hire which we will make use of when we travel there next.     It's all quality .... the staff...the service and the venue

    We stayed here for 2 nights for business and couldn't fault the motel...: all staff (front desk, bar, restaurant and housekeeping) were fantastic and had pleasant to deal...and a big shout out to the complementary windscreen clean!! The restaurant is much better than most hotel restaurants...reasonably priced and something for everyone. The place was spotless ....one of the better country motels we've stayed in ...

    Amazing place to stay in Wangaratta!

    Our first visit and not our last. We stayed overnight at this amazing accommodation. The room was luxury and very impressive. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious. We then had breakfast the next morning and again fantastic. Reception was welcoming and helpful. The restaurant staff were very professional and attentive. We plan on returning again for another relaxing and enjoyable break. Thanks to everyone that made our stay so memorable.
