    Old world charm and character.

    The grounds of this property are beautiful which includes the 9 hole golf course, guests can play on this course for no additional charge but bring your own clubs. Buggies are available but no carts. We stayed in a standard room which was quite small. The lounge area was nice and the set 2 course dinner was delicious although I feel a little over priced. No dinner menu options just a set 2 or 3 course dinner plan. The town of Bowral is a 5 min drive if you prefer a more flexible dinner option. Breakfast was average. Whilst we enjoyed our stay I feel this property is not quite the usual Peppers standard if you are expecting 5 star luxury. That being said, this is a nice quiet hotel with old world charm and character, great if you are visiting the Bowral and surrounding areas.

    Disappointing and overpriced

    The grounds are lovely but it’s a different story inside. Unfortunately the room was tiny and the bathroom even smaller. It is very tired and needs an update. We also found d it difficult to sleep due to very loud noises in the ceiling and wonder if there is a rat or possum problem, Overall it’s not good value for money, we would not stay again or recommend to anyone we know.     being an Accor Platinum member, we were upgraded to their best room category.pulled back the bed sheet to find a significant stain of unknown origin so had the room replaced. the new room had a water jug but no coffee/tea sachets of any description, no water bottles and no hangers at all in the wardrobe.     Great place to stay with excellent staff

    We were in Bowral for a wedding and this was the perfect place to stay. The staff are great, the accomodation good and the surroundings beautifulA shout out to I think Alex (?) on reception...I left my pillow and eye muffs in my room when we left and the hotel (and I think it was Alex) went to great trouble to take the pillow, box it up and post it to me. Sure they charged be the postage but their service - during a busy Christmas period went above and beyond. BIG THANK YOU !     Beautiful location and setting but the rooms are average at best. Hardly any room around the bed and the bathroom was tiny.
