    This motel lived up to its number 1 rating. It has been well renovated and is very spacious. It had everything we needed. We appreciated the comfy lounge to watch tv and the king sized bed was very comfortable. It’s set back from the road so is quiet but within walking distance to some very good restaurants.

    What an awesome home away from home experience. Perfectly clean and ideally comfortable - definitely the best mattress we have ever slept on! We loved it so much we are planning on buying one. We received an upgrade to a King room which was a pleasant surprise. The motel has great views from the window of Merimbula town and harbour, and is an easy walk to the many local shops. Rooms are comfortable, with also a super comfy lounge to watch TV or read. Impeccably clean and very friendly staff from booking to after we left when they told us what brand of mattress that we slept on. We recommend going to Merimbula for its amazing region and if you do, you need to stay at Summerhill Motor Inn. Those wondering if it cannot be that perfect, well our glasses were a wee bit small, but we worked around that by using mugs for cold drinks. Looking forward to when we return. Thanks

    Manager was very nice and made available a downstairs room, parking was good, the motel is old and the lounge was definitely in need of either a good clean or a replacement. Was clean overall and easy to get to eateries in the area
