  Family of 4 stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with large courtyard/balcony that had a bbq and jacuzzi (not hot) overlooking the ocean. The apartment was modern and spacious with a Hamptons/beach theme. Lots of amenities included. Hand wash, shampoo, lotion etc was provided and toilet paper/tissues to start you off. Wi-fi wasn’t very good, so recommend that you bring your own. Lots of dinner options on the street from level 1 and a variety of shops. It was difficult to find a decent coffee and the food prices are much higher than most places. There is a Coles close by where you can grab all your supplies. We have been staying in Mooloolaba for years now and this apartment is definitely one of our favourites.

  Save your money!Almost $600 a night and it was dirty. Nothing worked on the tv. Couldn’t even hot spot to it. A tv that did nothing. Wanted to watch a movie and the tv was a box of useless. Dreadful wifi network which was what we suspect the problem was. For $600 a night you should expect reliable wifi, a tv that works, a clean apartment and receptionist that gives a stuff.   This was our 7th extended stay at Zanzibar and again enjoyed all aspects of our stay.Our 2 br apartment had been recently refurbished and had all new appliances. Air con was very effective and apartment had all the facilities one wants for an extended stay. Booking, checking in & checking out was seamless and undercover secured parking is a big plus, as parking around The Esplanade is very restricted.Cyclone Alfred was approaching over our last few days there. Communications & preparations from Zanzibar Management was exceptionally good. Our only disappointment was the wifi. Reception was very weak & could only connect if sitting at the table in the middle of the apartment. IN previous stays, we have not experienced any issue with wifi. We have flagged this to management in our feedback to them.We highly recommend Mantra Zanzibar ..excellent location, excellent service, well priced and very clean & well equipped apartments to stay in

  Fantastic Location! We chose a 3 bedroom penthouse to enable us to have plenty of space and enjoy the roof top area. Unfortunately the stair case to the roof top area was quite precarious and as such we found ourselves not wishing to ascend and descend the stair case very often. The main pool area is located at the back of the building and lacked any resort feel. Ok if you just wanted a dip to cool down but not a great place to relax. The building is quite old but the unit we had did have renovations completed and it was quite nice.

  Great Location, comfy beds, amazing views. The 2 bed apartment is well laid out with plenty of room. Beds are very comfortable. Location is fab with lots of restaurants, cafes etc right outside on the esplanade. The pool area is no resort pool but ok for a cool off. Not enough lounges, it needs a bit of tlc and it’s rather small. Beach is right across the road but you do have to walk up a small way to get to the patrolled area.
