Location

The resort is one and a half hours north of Brisbane Airport and just 30 minutes from Sunshine Coast Airport (Maroochydore). The resort is situated along the beautiful Sunshine Coast of Queensland and provides relaxing resort accommodation in excellent proximity to the many leisure activities of Noosa. The property is positioned on seven landscaped acres by the shores of Lake Doonella and the Noosa River. Surrounded by wilderness, guests are only minutes from the town centre, the beach and local attractions.

Facility

The resort has 38 apartments and 42 studios, which are located on 2 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (no extra charge) or in the car park. Further services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available.

Rooms

Rooms feature a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure comfortable indoor temperatures. A balcony or terrace is among the standard features in the rooms. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A minibar is provided. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, stovetop, microwave, tea/coffee station, dishwasher and oven. Further amenities include a washing machine and an ironing set. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. A hairdryer and a telephone are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Some of the wheelchair-friendly rooms have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. The resort has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex includes a children's swimming area and pleasantly heated water to ensure comfortable swimming. Sun loungers and parasols on the sun terrace create a perfect space for guests to relax and unwind. The resort offers a range of outdoor sport, including cycling/mountain biking and fishing or, for a fee, golf and horse riding. The resort offers various water sports, including canoeing, or for additional fees, water skiing and jet skiing. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. Parents can unwind while the kids can participate in an entertainment programme full of fun activities.

Meals

The dining area includes a restaurant (with high chairs) and a bar. A fortifying breakfast is served daily.

    Noisy Accommodation

    We stayed at Noosa Lakes Resort over the weekend of the Noosa Triathlon. Arrived Sat and left Mon. We stayed in room 489, it was a bottom floor room. The room above us was soooo loud, we don’t mind the walking around but it was the floorboards right above the bed that sounded like a creaky door everytime someone stepped on one. We were awake from 5:30 every day at no fault of the occupants above. I can see many reviews about this experience and think it’s neglectful of the accommodation to not have resolved. We were unable to report this to reception due to it being closed on the Triathlon weekend. When we reported on checkout the receptionist was apologetic enough but seemed to be well aware that this was a problem for many, not every ground floor room. Otherwise the resort was really well decorated and the pool area is nice! A bus stop is located right outside the front door and allowed us easy access to the area.     Accommodation was fine. A nice Studio unit overlooking the pool. Needs an update but great for 2 nights.     The Noosa Lakes Resort was great, very relaxing, a lovely pool side and a spiciest room it was amazing I would probably give the Noosa Lakes resort a 4 out of 5 stars review and would definitely recommend coming here ,what a great family place to stay. , Owner at Noosa Lakes Resort, responded to this review Thanks for the review Millie!     Nice rooms but we wont be back

    Nice rooms but one room is above another and uses the same external entrance and it sounds like elephants on the roof, we even heard their microwave running. Parking is narrow and not room enough for comfortably unloading a 4x4 and accessing the stairs to the rooms.     My wife and I found this resort perfect for our needs, bus stops directly outside, breakfast two minutes one way and Noosa Marina four minutes in the other direction (shops and restaurants)Noosa ferry to Hastings Street. The accommodation consisted of a separate bedroom, good bathroom with an excellent shower, a lounge and full sized kitchen.
