  A great hotel for the price

  I stayed here for one night between flights. It is a bit confusing on arrival as the reception is actually on the top floor, but aside from that the checkin experience was seamless. The room was a good size, the bed very comfortable. It has a rainfall shower with good pressure and hot water. My only negative on this is there is no glass in the room and I had to use a cup for water. One of the best things of the hotel is how quiet it is. They seem to have soft close doors so you do not hear banging of hotel doors like some of the other airport hotels. I also did not hear any corridor noise which I have experienced in other airport hotels.Like most of the airport hotels in Sydney, breakfast starts very late at 06:30. I truly think all airport hotels breakfast should start at least at 05:00. This is not a criticism of this hotel in specific, but rather all the airport hotels in Sydney.I would highly recommend this hotel, and for the fitter people without too much luggage, it is actually walkable from the domestic terminal.

  Airport Accommodation that Delivers What is Needed

  Citidines is the perfect place to stay before your early morning flight or late arrival. Either walk 15 minutes from Mascot train station or get a quick cab. This place is simple, clean, neat and delivers what it promises. The room was super comfortable. I love the quirk of having the re person and guest services on the penthouse level. The staff were great. Water, snacks and drinks are available onsite but for a proper meal head outside and walk 5 minutes down the street to Moxy’s. Although the location seems a bit dodgy outside, it is perfectly safe. Best of all, you’re only a ten minute Uber drive to your 4am flight check in! Will stay again in the future for sure if necessary.   Handy Hotel

  The Citadines Connect Sydney Airport is handily located close to the Domestic Terminal. It's a 15 minute walk or you can get a shuttle although mine did not show up. The hotel is nicely furnished with most things you would need. Mascot shops and station are just 15-20 minutes walk.   Great Value and Comfort Between Flights

  I stayed at Citadines Connect Sydney Airport for two days in January, and it was excellent value for a short stopover near the airport. After a long flight, it was the perfect place to recharge before heading home.The hotel is very comfortable overall. The bed was especially spacious and genuinely comfortable, which made a big difference after travelling. One of the highlights was the bar, which offers a terrific view, definitely worth checking out even if you’re only staying briefly.The coffee was also surprisingly good. A special mention to Evan from the GSO team, who kindly made me a coffee. He was professional, skilled, and took the time to answer all of my questions, which I really appreciated.Overall, this is a great option for anyone needing a convenient and comfortable stay between flights.   GOOD AIRPORT CHOICE

  The hotel is one of many that now proliferate in the Mascot area and is a good choice for an overnight stay before or after a flight.Check in was easy and with the lobby being on the top level you get some nice views of the surrounding areas including some great views of the airport.I booked a premium economy room which is one level up from the economy room and I was very happy with the room and my stay which was only about 13 hours after arriving on a domestic flight from Brisbane and flying out to Europe the next day on an early morning departure.My room 501 was a good size and despite being on the 5th floor was really on about the 8th or 9th floor as there were 3 or 4 levels of parking before the accommodation floors started and I had nice views over the airport and Botany Bay in the distance.The room had everything I needed for an overnight stay with a comfortable bed, big TV, desk and chair, fridge, air-conditioning and good wifi. Like a lot of modern hotels there was an open closet area. The bathroom looked great and was apart from one issue in that the shower only had a fixed rainfall showerhead hanging down from the ceiling and while a rainfall head is nice I don’t think I have ever stayed in a hotel where this was the only option as I think they have all had a hand held option. There is a bar/café on next to the lobby on the top level with more great views in all directions and while it was nice it only had minimal food offerings from what I could tell.There is a service for transfers to and from both the domestic and international terminals for A$15 each way, but if you have minimal luggage it may be just as quick to walk from the domestic terminal to the hotel, but not from the international terminal which is some distance away. I used it from the domestic and to the international terminal and the booking for 6.20am arrived on time which is really all you need.Overall I would stay here again if the price at the time was reasonable. I paid A$147 room only as a fully refundable rate 7 months prior to my stay which I thought was reasonable.
