Location

Located right on the beach at Coogee, the hotel is 15 minutes from Sydney's CBD and Sydney-Kingsford Smith Airport, while Sydney Football Stadium, Centennial Park, the entertainment quarter and Bondi Beach are all within a short drive of Coogee.

Facility

The apartment hotel has a lift and features 80 non-smoking rooms. English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     I stayed here between 7th and 16th Feb 2026, I visited alone as my Son lives very close by in Randwick and my visit was to spend time with him. After a bit of web searching I chose this as my base. I had an amazing experience here, nothing was too much trouble for the staff who always had a smile and a proactive welcoming attitude. I had room 303 which was more than adequate for my needs. Big thanks to all the team 👍

    This was the perfect choice for a short Sydney beach break.We chose a sea view room and loved being able to check out the waves and conditions before we even left the room.The room was clean, recently renovated and had everything we needed to make our own breakfast.The room had a fridge, microwave and crockery, though there wasn’t a dining table if you’re thinking of bringing back a takeaway.There’s restaurants and coffee right outside, free parking in the building, and we had a great sleep.We will be back.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Excellent stay – highly recommendedThe communication from Coogee Sands Hotel and Apartments was outstanding. I needed to change my booking dates from the 14th–18th to the 13th–17th, and I was worried it wouldn’t be possible as it was December and a very busy time. I sent an email late at night and received a response by 6:00 am the next morning. They even called me to personally confirm and check my booking, which I really appreciated.The staff were amazing, friendly, professional, and extremely helpful throughout our stay.We booked two rooms for our family of five. The Deluxe Oceanview Terrace was for my three children (one adult and two teenagers), and it was a fantastic room with a beautiful sea view. The terrace was perfect for watching the sunset in the evenings and playing board games together. The room also had a handy kitchenette with a fridge and microwave.My husband and I stayed in the One-Bedroom Apartment with a full kitchen, which also had a lovely ocean view from the balcony. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped.The location is excellent. The Coogee Pavilion is right downstairs with a restaurant on the ground floor and a bar on the rooftop. The hotel is only a 10-minute walk to Metro Woolworths, and there are plenty of nearby shops, a chemist, pizzeria, and several great restaurants. The bus stop is just a short walk from the hotel, making it very convenient to take the 373 Express bus directly to Sydney city. It’s also perfect for beach lovers, with beautiful coastal walks to Bondi Beach or towards Maroubra.Check-in and check-out were smooth, payment was easy on arrival, and overall the service was excellent. We had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend Coogee Sands Hotel and Apartments. We will definitely be coming back!
