Near the picturesque Sydney Harbour, the hotel enjoys an excellent locale which adds to its charm. Only 20 min walk from Sydney's central business district, this conveniently located hotel is very popular among travellers because of its privileged location and proximity to major attractions such as the Sydney's Opera House, Harbour Bridge, the Botanic Garden, Art Gallery of New South Wales, Australian Museum, and Elizabeth Bay. The hotel is situated 2 km from the city centre and 10 km from Sydney Airport.

Facility

The hotel has 2 lifts and features 100 non-smoking rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services such as a baggage storage service and a safe ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee).     The location is within King's Cross area - good restaurants, shops and connections to the City and CoastHotel was mid range for the area but did not deliver. Cleanliness was an issue - the decor was dated, corridor carpets worn and not clean The room carpet may have been superficially cleaned but was dirty around and under the furniture. The water supply to the bathroom taps, shower and sink was inconsistent and very weak. The small kitchenette did not have any hot water. There were no utensils or crockery - so why have a kitchenette?Curtains did not close fully - some of the track retainers were missing so the curtain would not be retained.Noise from the street, especially in the morning with bin wagons, contractors vans and at the weekend in the evenings with cars racing around the street was very loud. The adjacent room noise was clear as the walls were very thin with no acoustics - people having conversations could easily be heard throughout the evening and night.I would suggest, if you want location this is ideal; if you want a break and/or rest then forget it

    This hotel is very dated and tired. The furnishings and decor clearly haven’t been updated for a long. Minimal facilities and service. They don’t clean rooms and any towels etc are available on request. I think they could offer a bit more in this respect.The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are of a decent size. Just don’t expect much in the way of comfort.

    Terrible experience. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to choose this unless you don’t have any other option. Can’t believe this property is listed as 3 star on their google page. The room was dirty , probably did not even clean after the last guest,(judging by the hair clips and straw on the floor). The door knob of the bathroom was about to come off, and don’t even get me started on the loud chattering exhaust noise in the bathroom. The bathroom light and exhaust share a single switch, so couldn’t avoid it. The only good thing is its location but still doesn’t justify the price for that kind of experience.

    Great location. But that is probably the best part. Hotel room was dirty and very run down. Didn’t want to spend time there as it was not a nice place to be. Overpriced considering the facilities and cleanliness were so bad.

    Old hotel needs a major renovation but excellent location. Close to some great bars, restaurants and an easy walk into the city
