The hotel is about 20 minutes' drive from the city centre. It is a door-to-door bus ride away from the centre, Sydney Opera House, University of NSW, Randwick Racecourse, Aussie Stadium and Sydney Cricket Ground. Kingsford Smith International Airport is around 12 km, or a 20-minute drive, away.

    Worst 5 minutes of my life.

    We only stayed about 5 minutes having dragged our suitcases up about 20 concrete steps. There was scaffolding all around it. The smell in the hall was just awful, like a mix of urine and cleaning fluid. When we got our room I honestly couldn't believe the smell. The head board behind the pillows was badly stained, there was a tiny window and I was honestly struggling to breath with the smell of mould. Got on to my phone and lucky we were able to book a much better place near by. This property should not be given 4 stars. In fact it should probably be closed down. Place is disgusting. Not sure why it is given such a good rating. I don't mind things being basic but cleanliness is essential. Vile

    Fantastic boutique hotel, Beds are very comfortable, and it’s a stones throw from EVERYTHING! I just loved enjoying my morning coffee, watching the sunrise over Coogee beach on the patio. Plan to return!

    the dive hotel is a dive , is more a backpacker hostel , do not stay there . should be demolished !

    1 only thing was good was it was close to drs apts. ............................................story ends there , terrible place unkept , should be demolished , unfortunate thing is crown plaza suggested dive hotel , not good crowne plaza management

    Hostel style hotel. The building and rooms are quite old, but it is right across from the beach and perfect location walking distance to everything! Comfortable enough but wouldn’t rebook - I think we could find something much nicer for same price if we booked earlier.

    Access from road level up to accomodation was arduous due to works underway. Front door does not close/secure properly (found ajar one evening on return). Room was dusty, no screens on windows, fridge was hot - could not cool our food and drink. Only one usable chair in the room. Winding stair to second floor - no lift. Feel this accomodation was overpriced for what we got - only good point was close to the beach. Accomodation seemed more of a boarding house style. Small kitchen and seating area downstairs.
