    Nice Boutique Hotel

    Nice boutique hotel on Darling Harbour. The rooms a quite small but the location makes up for that. Within walking distance to public transport and all that Darling Harbour has to offer with plenty of places to eat etc. Hotel had a nice restaurant providing breakfast along a good dinner menu with a bar attached. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and we had a great view over the harbour. There was construction going on across the street and when finished it may obstruct the view so not sure about that. Would stay again when we come back to the city.     Good location, 5 minute walk to Darling Harbour, 5 minutes to the train station, 5 minutes to bus depot.Lobby area has been updated and is fresh and vibrant, bar area and resteraunts are small but clean and tidy.The staff were polite but not overly friendly or helpful (kinda the bare minimum).Rooms were small and could do with some TLC but had a nice enough view (but about to be blocked out by a giant new building), were clean and quiet and beds were comfy.Shower water pressure was average and not great coverage (the shower head looked like it was going to fall off any minute)Breakfast the next day was quite good, with a good choice of hot and cold options but was a little tasteless.It's a decent enough hotel for a one night stop over but there are plenty other options out there I would probably consider first.     Had a great experience here, excellent value for money. my flight got moved and instead of losing my late checkout they managed to make it work by paying for my room service with that fee.     The room is very small. Even though it’s on the 6th floor, I could still hear a lot of noise coming from the street. And from neighbor room, The carpet in the room also had an unpleasant smell.and window can’t be open to refresh the room smell. At reception, I was asked to pay the full amount at check-in, and they refused to accept any deposit or partial payment until I exchanged money.     I’ve stayed at ibis Sydney Darling Harbour a few times now and it’s always been a great choice. The rooms aren’t huge, but when you’re in Sydney you’re usually out exploring and only really back to sleep anyway.The rooms are clean, comfortable, and offer great value for money. The location is amazing — right on Darling Harbour and close to everything you need. Perfect option if you want a convenient, affordable place to stay without spending a lot of time in the room.
