    The hotel is centrally located and rooms too were good enough for a family of 4(we got an upgrade as accor members so).The best part about the stay was the manager at the reception named Michelle.she was really helpful,friendly and sweet. We also had a buffet breakfast but we found very very limited options if you are a vegetarian. Since we are jains we were hoping to have baked beans but that too was available only one day.fruits thy have a good spread.Overall a lovely experience.     GREED!!...An absolute Disappointment and Unsatisfactory Mercure. Do better!! Your service is great but your ethical standards is 0 when with treating customers. I booked a "Flexible Rate" online as a Qantas FF member. I got ill the night before and notified both the Mercure and Qantas to explain.. I had stayed at the Mercure 3 weeks in a row prior as it is closer to my meetings each week. I spoke to the Supervisor in charge known as "Faith" only to be told "No sorry we can't anything". In other words "I don't care"...Thanks for nothing...$325 on your "Flexible Rate" is a SCAM and Unsatisfactory. We will never stay there or recommend your Hotel to anyone else in the future.     I only stayed at the hotel for one night, and luckily my room was at the end of the hallway, quite far from the elevator, so it was really quiet. What I liked most was the full-length mirror and the lighting—it was bright enough, which is something I always look for. The hotel lobby was under renovation, but it didn’t affect my stay too much.     Hotel met our core needs on location and facilities. However, it is best to avoid rooms near “service room” facilities. We are staying in 1316. From 6am staff come and drag out their trolley into the hallway, talk, set up, and bang the door and trolley around. Excessive noise. This is repeated. Other minor issues: Air conditioning is loud. Had the air filter cleaned, which helped. A large amount of noise transfer from other rooms. Shower and toilet drains from above rooms are the worst. Would look at alternatives next time.     AWFUL EXPERIENCE. THIEVES

    Do not under ANY circumstances, stay here. I got STOLEN from my room. A pair of Beats Studio Pro headphones which, may not seem like much, but they are around 530 AUD. The hotel staff did NOTHING to help, and if that weren’t enough, they went through all mine and my family’s luggage like we were criminals. Solved nothing, didn’t reimburse me for the price or give us any compensation whatsoever.They said that none of the staff saw them. Like if someone steals they’re gonna come forward and say yes it was me.ABSOLUTE HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE. Go elsewhere, it really is not worth it to go through an awful moment during your holidays. As of myself, I am still in back and forth communication with the hotel managers who refuse to take any responsibility and basically told me to just move on.
