Location

This hotel enjoys a convenient location in Sydney’s southern central business district, on the corner of Pitt and Campbell streets and opposite the Capital Theatre. Guests staying here will have all the wonders that Sydney has to offer on their doorstep and getting to the other parts of the city is also a breeze: The central railway station and coach terminal are both just a short walk away, whilst the metro light rail and monorail service are only a few footsteps from the hotel. Buses to all parts of the city can also be found just one block away on George Street. For those attending one of the many national or international conferences and trade shows at Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, the hotel is just a pleasant 10-minute stroll away.

Facility

The hotel has 3 lifts and features 220 rooms. English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage and a car park. Other services include a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, an alarm call service and a laundry service. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. A refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station are standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex is ideal for exercise and relaxation. A sun terrace is a great place to while away the hours. For guests who wish to keep active, tennis, beach volleyball and golf are available. With windsurfing, canoeing, sailing, catamaraning, kayaking and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. After an eventful day, guests can work out and recharge in the gym.

Meals

The dining area includes a restaurant and a bar. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.

    Dirty room bed were not made and had to complain as no mattress cover they just threw top cover over bed to look made. Had to keep asking for toilet paper soap and milk as not stocked each day. Never was vacuumed the 6 days I was there overall unclean room.     I stayed at this hotel in Sydney for three nights and unfortunately had a really unpleasant experience. After the first night, I started noticing bites all over my legs, which only got worse each day. By the final night, we actually found bugs in the room ourselves—after already raising concerns with the hotel earlier in our stay.When we reported it, the only solution offered was to move rooms. However, after checking other recent reviews, it became clear this wasn’t an isolated issue and that the problem may be affecting multiple rooms, if not the entire hotel. At that point, we didn’t feel comfortable relocating within the property, so we decided to just get through the last night and leave as soon as possible.We later contacted the hotel and provided photos of both the bites and the bugs, but they refused a refund. They claimed their “inspector” checked the room and found nothing—which is hard to believe given what we experienced firsthand. Frankly, perhaps their inspector should spend a night in the room and see how it goes.Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. Cleanliness and guest safety should be a top priority, and in this case, it clearly wasn’t handled properly.     A little bit dated, but otherwise a satisfactory stay. Close to Sydney Central Station, the Capitol Theatre, Light Rail and Chinatown.     I booked this hotel, becuase it is very close to the central station and not expensive. We walked with my firend everywhere in CBD without taking any transport. There are a lot of not expensive restaurants, more fine dining is 10 minutes walk in Darling Harbour or city centre. Rooms are not very big, but everything was very clean and confortable, staff is very friendy and helpful. We had no rpoblems during our stay.     The rooms are tired and in need of refurbishment, particularly the bathrooms. Location is great. We were given a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. This was our 3rd stay and we would definitely stay again.
