Great hotel with all the facilities

    rating16 May 2026

Stayed here due to attending a wedding anniversary function. The hotel is close to Rooty Hill station which is walkable and takes about 10-15 minutes depending on your ability. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Slightly dated but very clean and all the staff I dealt with were very helpful. There is also the use of the gym which is offsite and only about 50m from the hotel. There is also an RSL next door which has numerous cafes and restaurants , so please have your ID. Registration takes a few seconds and there are some great restaurant choices and specials. The bar fridge in the room has water, milk and soft drinks and these are totally 💯 complimentary. My only suggestion for this hotel is to have a larger tv and updated ones too. That’s the only drawback as the rooms are that spacious and the tv is very small. Great choice of movies, Fox channels etc

Reasonable and handy for the Colosseum Theatre

    rating21 Feb 2026

Stayed one night when we were going to a show at the colosseum theatre.Room was comfortable but and odd design, but overall clean and comfortable. Entrance to the hotel is tucked away in part of the carpark, so easy to miss. Most of the carpark was quite tight so we ended parking outside.Restaurant was great, reasonably priced and high quality. Breakfast was also ok, but the buffet are is cramped, avoid at busy times. Will stay again when attending the colosseum theatre

    Worst experience

    rating15 Feb 2026

My experience was terrible mould on the curtains no hot water, a broken electrical board, in the morning 1 light constantly flickering my child has epilepsy so had to be removed from that room when I complained all that was offered was a switch of rooms and fifty dollars per room back we paid 700 dollars to stay two nights. Not happy with my experience as I have been coming here for over 15 years.

    Handy base

    rating18 Sept 2025

I stayed in a standard room for 2 nights when I was in town for a family funeral. I stayed in room 206. The room was large, the windows overlooked the multi storey carpark, the room had 2 x queen beds, and a chaise lounge, with a small desk. The mini bar is build into the wardrobe and offered a handy spot to charge devices. The usb point at the desk wasn't working. Small wall mounted TV, offering foxtel and free to air (unusual for a hotel to not have the option of signing into streaming platforms). The bathroom was well laid out with a multi head shower, single sink and decent sized vanity. The wardrobe had plenty of hangers for a single person. I didn't notice the signage about a pillow menu, sadly, as I found the soft pillows provided uncomfortable. Stay was good, room was clean, small area of the vanity shelf was chipped showing the particle board. Free parking was appreciated, breakfast buffet was adequate (my room rate included breakfast), I didn't dine for dinner at the hotel restaurant, I went to West HQ in the same complex. I did use the gym (within the complex not the hotel itself - get a temp pass from reception).Adequate base for a short stay. As a solo traveller, I did find it weird that there wasn't a bolt or chain on the door.Love the move away from tiny toiletries, but was disappointed that the body wash, shampoo etc are all from China. There are so many great Australian made options that don't have nasty ingredients.

    Good Stay.

    rating06 Jul 2025

We had a king suite and it was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was also big with plenty of towels etc. The furniture was a tad dated and could do with a spruce up but we were only staying the one night. The cost of the room was a bit overpriced for the area (we did have a "staff" discount due to a family member) but overall was a pleasant enough stay.
